Voting in person:
•Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm.
•Find your polling place here.
•Wear a mask.
•If you are in line when the polls close, stay in line. You must be allowed to vote. 2/x
If you feel intimidated or threatened, ask to speak of the judge of elections who is in charge of the polling location or contact a poll observer if one is on the premises. Call 1-833-PAVotes if you can not resolve the issue. 3/x
If you received a mail ballot but want to vote in person, take the ballot and return envelope to the polls. It will be spoiled. You will sign a document forfeiting it and can vote using a regular ballot.
Remember to put the ballot in the Official Election Ballot envelope (the secrecy envelope), then place it in the larger, outside envelope which you must sign and date. 8/x
It will take time to count the votes in Pennsylvania. We are accustomed to the media calling the races on Election night or shortly after, but states normally take days or weeks to certify the results. Don't mistake delays for evidence of wrongdoing. 9/x
The results may change in any of the races between Election night and when the final mail ballots are counted. In a normal year, a relatively small number of mail ballots don't usually change the results...10/x
...but in a year when over 3 million mail ballots were requested in Pennsylvania alone, they will make a difference. Don't mistake changes for evidence of wrongdoing.11/x
•We have waited for four years for this election. We can wait a few more days for the results, but be certain that we will not rest until all votes are counted. 13/x
