Another day, another case of #NewJersey corruption.
Sudhan M. Thomas, the former President of Jersey City Board of Education & and former Acting Exec Director of Jersey City Employment & Training Program, and Point Pleasant Attorney Paul H. Appel were charged w embezzlement...
They were charged with embezzlement, money laundering, and fraud.
Attorney Appel was also Treasurer for Thomas’s 2016 campaign for Jersey City Board of Education (JCBOED).
Jersey City Employment and Training Program (JCETP) is a non-profit that helps Jersey City residents with entering the workforce. They get funding from the Federal Government.
While Thomas was Acting Executive Director, he had access to those funds and to JCETP's bank accounts. He caused checks to be issued to Appel, who in turn would redirect those funds back to Thomas.
Thomas also embezzled JCETP money by issuing checks made out to cash that he cashed himself or made out to "Next Global" where Thomas was also a Director.
Thomas was elected to a seat on the JCBOED in 2016 & Appel was his Treasurer. Both of them collected campaign contributions and embezzled over $8000 for their personal use.
Thomas ran again in 2019 and did the same thing - he embezzled over $6000 from his campaign.
In 2016, both Thomas and Appel scammed a Florida-based tech company out of more than $48,000.00.
They also scammed a Florida-based housing company.

8 people were charged, 5 of whom have been arrested, with conspiring to act as agents of the CCP/#China for harassing, spying on, stalking, and trying to force residents into going back to China.
Zhu Yong
Hongru Jin
Michael McMahon
Rong Jing
Zheng Congying
Still at large are:
Zhu Feng
Hu Ji
Li Minjun
These people helped China track down a New Jersey resident and his family to try to force them back to China under Chinese ops called “Operation Fox Hunt” and “Operation Skynet.”
China claims they’re facing charges, but they never went through the justice system.
DOJ is giving a press conference related to China, and just said something about how many people who China claims are criminal fugitives aren't really criminal fugitives. They just claim so to try to get those people back to China.
So, does Guo Wengui fall under this category?
He's a Chinese exile who China claims committed crimes in China, but the US hasn't sent him back.
