This is the point in the night where I get real earnest. Whatever happens tonight, I am so proud of everything @runforsomething has done the last four years. It's been really amazing getting to work with @amandalitman and the entire RFS team.
And, I really want to say thank you to every single person who raised their hand to run for office in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and even 2021. I believe, so deeply, that y'all are what this country needs. Win or lose, when you run for office you make change in your community.
I also want to thank our partners. There are too too many to name, but we cannot do this work without the help of organizations big and small as well as local, state, and national. We are in this together!
Our donors are so incredible and invested. Whether it's someone giving a recurring $5/month contribution or someone making a $500K contribution, the donors we work with understand the vision and make this work a pleasure.
We also have some of the best vols ever. Again, too many folks to name here, but many of our vols have been with us since the beginning. They've put in thousands of hours to have 1:1 with potential candidates and make calls and texts for downballot folks across the country.
As @HillaryClinton says, it takes a village. This little village wouldn't exist without you. Thank you, and regardless of what happens tonight, we look forward to joining you in the work tomorrow, in 2021, 2022, and 10 years from now.
