@Hadithoftheday Mount Toor, Valley of Tuwa.

Allah says in Qur'an:

& when he came to it,he was called, O Musa

Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa
And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you.
Indeed, I am Allah (20:11-14)
@Hadithoftheday When Musa A.S was in Madyan for many years, Musa A.S missed his family in Egypt.
Once his contract with his father in law was fulfilled, he set back with his wife and family back towards his homeland.
To reach Egypt, they had to cross the Sinai desert. +
@Hadithoftheday On one particularly cold & dark night, they seemed to have lost their way. As Musa A.S walked in the darkness, he saw a light in the distance, on the side of Mount Tur.
He directed his family to stay there so that he may bring something that will keep them warm.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
He directed his family as mentioned in Qur'an:

“Stay here, I see a fire, I hope I may bring you from that you may warm yourselves.” (Qur’an 28:29).
The same incident was also reported in Surah Ta Ha, 20:9, and Surat An Naml, 27:7.
@Hadithoftheday Musa A.S approached the light and found something wondrous – there was a green tree but it was glowing and burning with an unusual fire and light!
Musa A.S was, at this time, in the valley of Tuwa, facing the Qibla, when his Lord called out to him. +
@Hadithoftheday Surah Ta Ha sets out the conversation beautifully between Allah and Musa A.S:

And when he came to it, he was called, “O Musa,

Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. (Surah Ta-ha, 20:11,12).+
@Hadithoftheday And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you].

Indeed, I am Allah . There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. (Qur’an 20:13,14)
@Hadithoftheday The message continued:

Indeed, the Hour is coming – I almost conceal it – so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives.

So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it & follows his desire, for you [then]would perish. (20:15-16)
@Hadithoftheday This was a great guidance from the Almighty, for this was the beginning to the revelations to Musa AS
From a firsthand introduction by Allah Almighty Himself,& the order to worship Him, Musa A.S was immediately directed not to be distracted from such worship by the non believers
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:

When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa (Qur'an: 79:16)
Allah spoke to Musa A.S directly there and Musa A.D heard the words of Allah (surah Taha).

This is why Musa A.S is called Kaleemullah (The one who spoke with Allah).

@Hadithoftheday 13 years in Makkah and 10 years in Madinah.
The chapters which were revealed in Makkah are called as Makkan Chapters and the chapters which were revealed in Madina after Hijrah are called Madinan Chapters.
There are total of 86 Makkan and 28 Madinan Chapters in Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday The Makkan Phase:
The Makkan phase of the revelation lasted about 13 years, from the first revelation up to the Hijrah.

The Madinan Phase:

The Madinan phase lasted about 10 years, from the Hijrah to the death of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
@Hadithoftheday The Makkan Chapters are those which were revealed in Makkah. This refers to everything revealed before the Migration to Madinah, even if the verse was revealed while the Prophet (ﷺ) was outside of the city of Makkah.

@Hadithoftheday Hajj
Allah has made hajj compulsory only for those who are financially & physically able to perform hajj
Allah says in Qur'an:

“And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses. (Qur'an:3:97)
@Hadithoftheday Being physically able is when one is sound in body and can bear the hardship of travelling to the sacred House of Allah.

Being financially able means that one has enough funds to get to the sacred House of Allah and back again.
@Hadithoftheday Hajj is a spiritual journey like no other.
Hajj is one of five pillars of Islam.
Hajj is actually the Sunnah of Ibrahim A.S
Every able Muslim who has the finances available (after taking care of all family obligations), is required to embark on this journey once in their life.

A thread:
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ & his foster mother, Halima Saadia:

When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was still an infant, a group of ladies visited Makkah to take the new born babies to the open desert environment as per custom of the town.
Muhammad ﷺ was entrusted to Halima Sadia
Halima Saadia, from Banu Saad tribe, was that fortunate lady who took Muhammad ﷺ, then just an-eight-day-old, for foster care.
The other ladies of the group could get babies of rich families, but Halima opted for this orphan as his father, Abdullah, had died before his birth
Her companions were apparently happy with their findings but nobody knew that Halima was carrying a baby that was to become arguably the greatest personality in human history. He was gifted with blessings from Almighty Allah. And it occurred instantly.

@Hadithoftheday Rivers
Allah says in Qur'an:
And give good tidings to those who believe & do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. (Quran- 2:25)
The phrase “gardens beneath which rivers flow” is a very common scene depicted about the eternal Heaven
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure.(10:9)
This sentence is mentioned repeatedly in Quran: تَجْرِى مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهٰرُ
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in another verse of Qur'an:

“Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow.” (Qur'an. 18:31)

@Hadithoftheday True.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey,+ (47:15)
@Hadithoftheday in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?"
(Qur'an ; Surah Muhammad 47: Verse 15)
@Hadithoftheday Regarding pure wine, Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure"
"On adorned couches, observing."
"You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure."
"They will be given to drink [pure] wine sealed."

(Qur'an. Surah Al-Mutaffifin 83: Verse 22-25)
