Trump says "without question the latest news conference I've ever had." Then thanks American people for their support. Says a sad group of people trying to disenfranchise his supporters. "We will not stand for it."
"Results tonight have been phenomenal," says Trump, who says he was ready to celebrate victory. Cites record-breaking turnout and winning of states he was projected to lose. Notes media outlets are delaying calls in his favor.
Says he has won GA and NC and says it's possible AZ could go for Biden but thinks it's ridiculous to have called state so early. Notes they're up 700K in PA with 64% of vote in.
Says also doing well in Michigan and Wisconsin. "We had such a big night." "Look at all of these states we've won tonight and by the margins we've won them by."
"Frankly, we did win this election. So our goal now is to ensure the integrity ..." Trump tells supporters. "We want law used in the proper manner," he says, saying that they want to make sure Democrats don't "find" ballots to alter results.
Vice President Pence thanks the more than 60M Americans who cast their vote for four more years of the administration. "We're going to remain vigilant" as vote counting happens and will work to "protect integrity of vote." Says he is confident, given margins they hold.
Media/Twitter consensus is that Trump was grievously wrong to say his margins mean he's won various states, and to signal he'll fight any attempt to steal election from him.
FYI that Pennsylvania AG yesterday tweeted that Trump couldn't win the state and Democratic strongholds stopped counting votes tonight. PA allowing votes with no proof of having been cast prior to polls closing. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8…

Very weird article. It's about how the purported author of a little-known dossier of Hunter Biden's problematic relationship with Communist China wasn't real. It talks to the guy who hosted the article and he says the info is real but the author is hiding his real identity.
People seem to be falsely thinking this is about Bobulinski's documents (also about Hunter's problematic relationship with Communist China), or the documents from Hunter's laptop, which are in part about same. But this is totally separate and new to most folks.
The article authors don't even begin to analyze substance of dossier, allegedly sourced to public documents. They claim it went viral but many (like myself) are learning about it for the first time tonight. NBC's link to the Hunter Biden report is here: baldingsworld.com/2020/10/22/rep…
Tucker: "Bobulinski is an unusually credible witness."
"Any honest person who watched the entire hour would conclude" Bobulinski is credible, Tucker says. Some pundits have said they don't find him credible because ... he worked with Hunter Biden.
"We don't know what Joe Biden's version of the story is because nobody in America's vast media landscape have pressed him." Instead have "openly collaborated with Biden's political campaign."
For whatever it is worth, rumors swirling that NYT's famous "Anonymous" person is literally someone named Miles Taylor, but I don't think that is true because that would be even lamer and lower-level than many dreamed imaginable.
Oh I guess it is true? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. That is so bleeping BEAUTIFUL I can't possibly be more thankful. I love this so much. The person that the NYT strongly insinuated was, like, the VP or WH Chief of Staff, or Cabinet Member was literally "Miles Taylor." HA HA HA
FWIW, White House officials were predicting that @shearm of the NYT would get the "scoop" on revealing who "Anonymous" was because of his "hack record" on reporting the debunked Russia collusion narrative, so they're all feeling pretty good right now.
Tony Bobolinski, the Biden family associate who has become a whistleblower, is on Tucker right now going through his firsthand knowledge about the Biden family operations, including Joe Biden's participation -- contra what Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed.
*Bobulinski
Bobulinski talking about meeting with Joe Biden at the Milken Conference in 2017 to discuss Bobulinski's CEO role at Sinohawk, the Biden family firm. Biden was a keynote speaker and Bobulinski has provided texts about arranging that meeting with Biden and discussing it afterwards
McConnell says Democrats now "see legitimate defeat as an oxymoron." Notes that nothing unconstitutional was done in confirming Amy Coney Barrett.
"Legitimacy does not flow from their feelings," says McConnell of Democrats' efforts. Notes that Dems are behaving as they accuse Trump of -- that Trump won't accept outcomes he doesn't like. "Well they're flunking that test" right now.
"Any political system that sets them back" is not illegitimate, McConnell says. References Senate Dems' overt threat that justices must rule in the way they like or face restructuring.(FWIW, that threat worked on Roberts.)
I know it's a reflection of their campaign theme, too, but Trump is very hopeful and optimistic about ability of Americans to conquer Coronavirus and Biden predicts a "dark winter" of discontent and horror.
Biden, who criticized Trump for shutting down border and called it xenophobic, now says that Trump waited too long to do it (US was first major country to do so)
Trump says "we're learning to live with virus" but not everyone has made as much money as the Bidens and can just hide in basements.
