The results are not in yet, and we do not know who won. But the closeness of this race has more than a million people asking how? how can it be this close? How can nearly half of the country have voted for trump?
2/8 I will tell you why and you will not like it.
Democrats targeted the wrong audience, they thought this election was about the economy, the virus and decency. This election was always about racism.
3/8 I kept hearing over and over again people saying, we are better than this, this is not America, when I brought up race… most people are not racists, has been shouted proudly across all social platforms.
4/8 Truth is ugly, most people will not admit it to themselves, most people will not believe it about themselves, but most people are racists.
5/8 This race is not close because of trumpers, it is close because of scared polite Americans. Those that will say, no I’m not racist, those that put up BLM signs, or claim I’m Breonna Taylor, they are the same ones that tremble inside
6/8 thinking about the changes that minorities have demanded of them. Change of reforming the police, of changing policies, or rebuilding America, changes that will affect their lives in a way they are not ready for.
7/8 Democrats thought Americans had had enough of trump, but trump was never the problem, he was a problem, but he was also much more importantly the symptom of the underbelly of the United States.
8/8 Americans have also had enough of minorities gaining ground, of affirmative actions, of sensitivity training, immigrants, etc… that is why trump won in 2016 and that is also why he may win in 2020. Because at heart, more than half of the country are still closet racists.

It took a man like trump to show us the other side of the Leader of the free world, the underbelly of the most so-called democratic country in the world, and it is ugly.
2 - Some of us, mostly the black and brown minorities, already knew this ugly side, we had seen what was hidden beneath the polite smiles and fake platitudes, we had born the brunt of this ugliness for decades.
3- More than 68 million Americans voted to have trump for a second term, 4 more years, some have taken to the streets to demand it, thousands have put their lives at risks attending covid rally spreaders to cheer him on and the rest of America is asking themselves how?
