Speaking from Wilmington, Del., former Vice President Joe Biden addressed the country with vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris: Yesterday proved, once again, that democracy is heartbeat of this country ... Here the people rule.
Biden says he's not going to declare victory but added that he believes he will win.
Biden said he's very proud of the campaign he and Harris have run. He says he's looking forward to uniting and healing the nation, and bringing the country together.

"To make progress, we have to stop treating our opponents as enemies. We are not enemies."
Biden: "'m confident we'll emerge victorious, but this will not be my victory alone or our victory alone. It will be a victory for the American people, for our democracy, for America. And there will be no blue states and red states when we win. Just the United States of America."
