In the 1876 presidential election, Democrat Samuel Tilden won 184 electoral votes to Republican Rutherford Hayes' 165. Four states representing 20 votes were unresolved: Florida, Louisiana, Oregon, and South Carolina. The crisis dragged on for months.
In Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina, both Tilden and Hayes claimed victory. In Oregon, the Democratic governor declared one of the GOP electors illegal and replaced him with a Democrat. The Democrat voted for Tilden, but the GOP electors claimed all three votes for Hayes.
Congress and the Supreme Court formed the Electoral Commission to resolve the dispute. The Electoral Commission chose to award the 20 outstanding votes to Hayes, giving him 185 votes in total and electing him president, the narrowest Electoral College victory in American history.
The Compromise of 1877 was part of this process. Democrats allowed Hayes to become president on the condition that he withdraw federal troops from the South, which ended Reconstruction and allowed the Democrats to reassert control of the "Solid South."
Despite the Compromise, many Democrats refused to accept Hayes as president, particularly since he not only lost the popular vote, Tilden won an outright majority. He was ridiculed as "Rutherfraud B. Hayes" and did not run for a second term in 1880.
America is retvrning to tradition, the tradition of ballot shenanigans, party polarization, chicanery. Our times are not unprecedented; they are part of the ebb and flow of our national history.
Stay strong. Do not back down. Do not blackpill.
We CAN win and we WILL win.

Finished the MASS EFFECT games. Took forever to finish ME3 because I was dreading the ending.
Tired of this election shit so here's a LOOOOOOONG Tweet thread looking back at this classic RPG trilogy of our youths. Is MASS EFFECT art? Does it hold up? FIND OUT!
MASS EFFECT:
Best of the trilogy. The only one that is an actual RPG. Had the most interesting story, most interesting characters. It and DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS are the last two great games BioWare put out before the twin pincers of wokeness and EA turned them to utter shit.
BioWare listened to players who criticized JADE EMPIRE for being too dumbed down for the console set. MASS EFFECT has tons of character stat, weapon, armor, magic (oh excuse me, "biotics") customization, hoo boy! Just wish they hadn't built such a completely borked interface.
if they're not, new hate speech laws will make their political beliefs illegal, the voter rolls will be swollen with 30 million illegals, and they'll also be banned from the Internet and banks
2. "if the GOP(e) doesn't support Trump we'll vote THEM out!"
neato, so you'll trade milquetoast Republicans for Democrats who will support the acceleration of totalitarianism
and no you're not forming a new party (see above, your political beliefs will be illegal)
3. "the red states will secede"
no, they won't
secession in the Civil War happened because state governors and legislatures voted for it
right now, there is not a single GOP governor or state legislature who will vote to secede, not one
I'm amused that the Claremont Institute has replaced Koch Industries as the big shadowy Emmanuel Goldstein org that the left blames everything bad on, which is super-funny because while they were right about the Kochs, the Claremont Institute is a lemonade stand in comparison
Also note how they don't say anything bad about the Kochs anymore even though the one surviving Koch brother still has his gnarled old man fingers in everything because the Koch complex is anti-Trump and backs Democrats now
Also funny is how all the dirtbag left women are basically de facto right-wingers now because they're actually loyal to the working class while the dirtbag left men are prevaricating with epic copes about how the neoliberal kleptocracy of the Democrats is good, ackshually
nerds be like "a Biden presidency will depoliticize America," proving they flunked out of NRx 101
left-wing governments politicize EVERYTHING, down to individual human relationships
right-wing governments depoliticize society, this is consistent across the 20th century
the Soviet Union and communist China politicized everything
peoples' entire lives were geared around supporting the revolution
children were trained to rat their parents out to commissars, neighbor turned against neighbor, brother against brother
sound familiar?
what do you think wokeness is? "the personal is political?" the left wants an America where you must continuously pledge fealty to the regime in order to survive
look at those mentally ill AWFL "I don't want to have a white baby" articles for a peek at the future
federal informant trust fund kid Richard Spencer has Opinions, everyone, stand back and stand by
"multiple cycles of consistent gains"
um, the Democrats took losses in 2010, 2014, 2016
that's, what, two cycles of gains?
Biden declared that "antifa is an idea" at the first debate and his campaign has given money to bail funds but keep coping about how he's secretly a Clintonian Democrat and not a dotard being manipulated by everyone around him
the Prison Planet hinges on Biden winning the election, without the U.S.---the most powerful nation on Earth and the holder of the world's reserve currency---on board, it will result in every other country collapsing themselves
so how will TPTB react to a likely Trump win?
it's likely that international finance capital will try to crush the U.S. economy in the same way they've done to other countries through financial chicanery, ongoing travel bans, and a push to abandon the dollar, wiping out America's leverage on the international stage
the goal will be to make life in America so painful that they submit to the Great Reset or serve as a warning to other countries that are thinking about resisting
can they pull it off? a great deal of TPTB's power comes FROM American economic clout, withdraw that and it's over
