Today we have the #ICPC Japanese domestic online contest #icpcjp. Because of the pandemic, 4 months later than its usual late june date. Tsukuba University is fielding 6 teams this year (three 1st year teams). You can follow the standings at icpcsec.firebaseapp.com/standings/
There was a small scare in the beginning because the teams could not access the server for about 2-3 minutes after the start time, but everything seems to be fine now.
Because of the pandemic, this year teams are allowed to participate separately and communicate online. Because of this, the one-team-one-computer rule was relaxed. I thought that a few extra problems would be added to compensate, but we have the usual 10 problems. #icpc#icpcjp
A little less than 300 teams are participating in the #icpc Japan domestic online contest. I think this is the usual number from previous years?
At the halfway mark, Kyoto University is in first place with 5 problems (out of 8), Toukoudai in 2nd (also 5), and Tokyo U. 3rd. Four of the Tsukuba teams have 3 problems solved, and two have 2 problems solved. #icpc#icpcjp
Unfortunately, this year the problems will be not made public until the end of the contest, so I can't comment on them this time.
About one hour to the end of the #ICPC japan domestic online contest, which means the standings are now locked until the end of the contest. Kyoto University in first place with 6 problems, and the best Tsukuba team in 9th with 5. #icpcjp
