Trump will never concede like he’s never been able to accept that HRC won the popular vote in 2016. He will continue to make himself the victim of subversion (rigging, fraud, betrayal). There will be many public and private scapegoats. He’s already devalued Fox News.
His sycophants and supporters will become more irrational in their attempts to appease and support him, becoming even more disconnected from reality. You’ll be shocked. We’re entering a more dangerous time. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/…
Narcissistic psychopaths cause destruction even when they do the discarding. When they are discarded it’s unparalleled narcissistic injury. They reflexively and sadistically seek retribution through chaos and destruction. He will incite violence in diabolical ways that will shock
This is when his staunchest sycophants & supporters get their ultimate narcissistic supply by showing their devotion & commitment in sacrificial action for the psychopath. It’s sadistic.
Be prepared. The crazy will get worse. Do not engage. Let their crazy wash over you.
Anchor to the sanity and decency of Biden and Harris, and the millions of people who voted for them.
Democracy is a survivor. She needs our continued support.
This tweet hit a nerve because recently I’ve recalled an incident from early in my life, a time when I felt manipulative deceit. Although it was not directly dangerous to my health, I got a small glimpse of the manipulative power of governments over people.
In the early 80s a gymnast from the Soviet Union wanted to make a trade for one of my leotards. I said I’d trade for her track suit jacket. My 🇨🇦 hockey loving dad would think the rival CCCP insignia was cool. When I met her for the trade she seemed scared, the CCCP was removed.
While this Soviet gymnast didn’t have a choice, I distinctly remember the feeling of being deliberately deceived. In my heart I knew it wasn’t her fault so I gave up a beautiful (expensive) leotard for a sterile red jacket with no Soviet insignia.
Agree. Trump was headed for the helicopter and then realized he needed to wait for Melania. Narcissists can not stand looking dumb/making a mistake. In their attempted recovery, the deflection makes them look worse.
Don’t be fake news. You’re giving him exactly what he wants.
Donald Trump is “other.” He’s not like most humans — he’s conscienceless. He’s damaged, defective, compromised. Who do these insecurities and feelings of worthlessness get projected onto? Others. People who are not him by gender or skin color.
His misogyny, his racism, and his xenophobia can be explained by his defense against being a conscienceless other. He externalizes or projects his unwanted defectiveness onto others who are different or “other.”
Trump treats women, people of color and foreigners as compromised, worthless, defective and dangerous. All the things that are true about his conscienceless being. All his fears, insecurities and obsessions about his own otherness become irrational feelings about “others.”
Our troops dedicate their lives to protecting our country. This is a selfless sacrifice that Trump can not comprehend. He completely lacks the emotional circuitry to understand sacrifice, dedication, loyalty or commitment to a calling higher than oneself.
Trump projects his conscienceless and emotionally defective self onto those to which he knows he can never be. They become “losers” because he’s the defective loser. His idealized self needs a reason as to why he can’t give selflessly, unconditionally, those people are “suckers.”
Trump’s defectiveness drives him to create a self aggrandized idealized “winner” who is smarter and better than everyone else but it’s not based in humanity or reality. He lacks empathy, he’s materialistic, arrogant, entitled and vain.
Excuse the typos. You’d never know from this tweet that I’m a recovering perfectionist. It’s an example of what prolonged sleep deprivation can do.
Our elderly dog, a Lab-Great Dane mix, has been in rapid decline, we assume from a brain tumor.
There were neurological signs like intermittent incapacity of his hind quarter then suddenly within days, he lost his sight, his diurnal clock erased.
Maneuvering over 100 lbs of dog (more stubborn than I am) for weeks has been an exercise in humility & patience for all of us.
Our oldest daughter found him as a rescue when she was 12, after putting her internet searching skills to work. Since he was a mix rather than a purebred Lab like our previous dog, I tried to put off adopting the puppy because our youngest was still a toddler.
