So it appears to me that the Trump-supporting "woman on the street" interviewed *in the lede* of this Times story is, in fact, a local Republican politician who was not identified as such. I imagine an update will be coming nytimes.com/2020/11/07/us/…
Stealth update achieved

So if you watch football, you've probably seen this ad, which may be a clearer explication of a distinctly American fascist movement than I could imagine in my worst fever dreams
The first half of the ad depicts Joe Biden as: communist; socialist; a tax-raiser; and "past his prime, too weak to rebuild our nation"
The second half suggests that the holy spirit is present at Trump rallies
As evidence of the strength of the Trump administration's coronavirus response, he tells Stahl, "Barron had it, and it was gone in no time"
"You're behind with suburban women in the polls."
"I doubt it. I doubt it. I really doubt it. I'm saving suburbia. He's gonna destroy suburbia... bring low income housing projects into suburbia... Suburban women want security."
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"We got hit with [COVID], it's not our fault. And we've done a good job, not a good job, we've done a great job..."
"...You called Dr. Fauci and other health officials 'idiots."
