The vast majority of the cyberware listed in RED exists for gamification purposes. Skate feet make you move faster. Rippers are a weapon. Chyron displays project HUD onto your eyeball. And so forth.

That doesn't mean other cyberware doesn't exist.
Just that we, at the moment at least, aren't making specific rules about having it. For example, in RED, there are implants that inject your medication into your bloodstream following a certain schedule or upon detecting specific signals from your Biomonitor.
The idea is similar to an insulin pump only more advanced because science fiction. The rules for them aren't in the RED core rulebook but neither is a cost.

GMs, if a Player want to build this into their Character, we recommend the following rule:
1. Let them.
2. Don't penalize them for it. No need to make them pay for it from their starting funds.
3. There's no Humanity Loss (and there never should be for medical-grade cyberware).
4. Talk to Players about using it as a plot point and, if so, what their lines are. Some might find "I'm trading my gun arm for the medication" or "my implant can be damaged to create tension/drama if I'm Crit Injured" plots cool. Others won't. Communicate and respect lines.
Just remember, for every Chainripp, there's probably a hundred+ "mundane" cyberware options built to help humans better interact with the world or, you know, not die due a medical condition. Please feel free to work with your Players when they want to make use of those options.
Coda: If your Player doesn't want cyberware to "fix a problem", respect that, too.

There isn't a merit and flaw system in Cyberpunk RED so wearing an eyepatch instead of getting a cybereye shouldn't really be a problem. Plus, pirates are cool.

Mekton Zeta #lifepath (1)

We'll explain this one a bit, since it isn't quite as famous as Cyberpunk or the Witcher. Mekton was our first RPG and is all about giant robots and their pilots. Inspired by Gundam, among other things, the game doesn't center on a single setting but
Mekton Zeta #lifepath (2)

instead gives gamers the tools they need to simulate the giant robot setting/style of their choosing, from the Top Gun Soap Opera of Robotech to the dating sim style of Sakura Wars to the sentai-mimicing Voltron and beyond.
Mekton Zeta #lifepath (3)

Just like before, we'll be forging a character background using random rolls on the Mekton Zeta #lifepath table.

Here we go!
