(1,4) My book "Find The Helpers" came in September. With election coverage, it was not easy to get the message out. Find The Helpers tells my story & the Helpers I was fortunate to have in my life to help me through it. We all have our helpers. For those who want to know more,

@broward_schools, @RobertwRuncie and @MSDHighSchool would like you to know that these photos are lining the office hallways to remind everyone of my daughter and 16 others who were murdered.
(2,4) I wonder which was for Jaime? Was it "Live Life" or "Be happy"? They are so f--king clueless. They want to cleanse MSD of reality that 17 amazing people, including my daughter, were murdered there because of incompetence, which in ways both big & small continues today.
(3,4) While they try to cleanse MSD of the reality of incompetence and murder, the district willingly takes grants and money from other agencies because of what happened and continues to aggressively litigate in court to avoid responsibility to the families.

(1,6) I struggled with whether or not to post about this but decided I need to take a stand. The @browardschools School District failed in deadly ways. My daughter and 16 others were murdered because of their failures.

(1,7) It took me a day to figure out how to respond to this. Yesterday, the current occupant of the White House defended a white supremacist teen with an AR 15 who went looking for conflict and committed murder.

(1,7) Since many are asking, I HAVE NEVER MET TRUMP OR BEEN TO THE WHITE HOUSE. Here are facts. Jaime was murdered by a teenage boy who was a FORMER student and out of school for almost two years. He was able to legally acquire his AR 15 and the ammunition.
(2,7) This boy put it in a guitar bag & simply walked into the school. As happens many of cases of gun violence, the killer just walks in. Whatever people want to say, this mass shooting was a failure of gun policy and of human failure to protect and cowardice at that time.
(3,7) For me, any failure to address the gun in this incident is a failure to deal with the reality of why my daughter died. When Betsy DeVos announced her plan to look at Parkland and come out with a report, she specifically said that they would look at everything but the gun.
