Resolved: as long are pietism/revivalism are core to 21st-century Calvinism in the TGC-world, Reformed Baptist, Southern Pres/Machen-leaning PCA world, neo-fundamentalist non-denoms in captivity to Christian nationalism, trying to move these people to social concern is useless.
History tells the story. Do not waste your life arguing with pietists & revivalists about the church and social concern. They will never change. You'll only fatigue yourself and become bitter. No one has been successful at changing their minds. You won't be either.
For example, that debate between Rasool Berry and Neil Shenvi on CRT will never yield anything & was essentially like watching a sports game. Nothing will come out of these debates. Nothing. Ever, b/c CRT isn't the issue. The *real* issue is the same one of 1846, 1920, 1964, etc.
Everyone's who has recently tried from Carl F. Henry to Tim Keller has simply been ignored. This will continue as long as Matthew 28:16-20 is the organizing principle for mission. You can talk about adding the Great Commandment all you want. History shows says, "that won't work."
