Two days after Biden’s victory became clear, Trump continued to sulk out of sight, tweeting baseless allegations of fraud in some states and suggesting he didn’t really lose in others. latimes.com/politics/story…
Trump’s administration is refusing to cooperate with Biden’s transition team, withholding federal resources that normally flow freely after a campaign ends.

The delay has left Biden with only barebones assistance as he prepares to take office.

In it, she tells the real story behind her breakup with Pete Davidson, and his subsequent relationship with Ariana Grande

The L.A. County medical examiner announced a rare independent review of the death of an 18-year-old fatally shot by sheriff’s deputies in June

The coroner’s office released autopsy findings in July that showed Andres Guardado was shot in the back five times after he was chased by Sheriff’s Deputies Miguel Vega and Chris Hernandez in Gardena

The inquest is the first of its kind in nearly 30 years.

It will allow the coroner’s office to subpoena witnesses and present documents to an independent hearing officer who “will make findings related to the cause and manner of death."

The nonprofit handles film permits in Los Angeles city and county. It says it is averaging about 40 new permit requests per day, although that remains 47% below prepandemic levels.
