Nearly nine out of 10 police officers also wanted LAPD Chief Michael Moore to resign this summer, but for a different reason than the activists who took to the streets to show support for the "defund the police" movement.
Many officers accused Moore, in comments they submitted with a survey, of “cowering” to Black Lives Matter protesters, “pandering” to city politicians and “not having an organized plan” during the unrest, the police union said.
