Starting a new thread... following all the ways Trump and the GOP are going to obstruct the transition.

I have a bad feeling this will turn into a LONG thread. Image
First, let's dial back to some of the efforts made to steal this election by the GOP. I have a big long thread on the attacks on the USPS and other voter suppression:
Trump also frequently made it clear that he expected the Supreme Court to secure him the election as quid pro quo for packing it with conservatives.

Throughout the early voting portion of the election, there were direct attacks on voting in many ways, outlined in the thread I posted above. They included shutting down & limiting polling places and ballot dropoff boxes & limiting when votes could arrive & counting times. Image
Mitch McConnell's GOP senate also blocked bills to provide election protection throughout Trump's tenure. Image
Reports indicated that Trump planned to declare premature victory... which he did in the dark of night, at 3 am the next morning, catching many off guard.

axios.com/trump-claim-el…
This was timed with a total lockdown of the White House.
Efforts were made to get ballots tossed in many states, including Texas, where Trump won, before the election, but these were nothing compared to what came down afterwards, even as a federal judge was fighting to ensure all ballots were DELIVERED. nytimes.com/2020/11/02/us/…
The challenges began immediately. Trump's tweets were so bad more than half at some points were getting warnings or outright limited, with wild claims like this one (no votes were cast AFTER election day, and the number of ballots that arrived afterwards were minimal... & legal.) Image
Many noted that the lawsuits, which were entirely or mostly tossed out of court in 7 of 7 cases, were not intended to win, but to intimidate and set a narrative.
In Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, & Georgia, where Trump was ahead but Biden was catching up, Trump filed lawsuits to stop the count, while in Arizona and Nevada, where he was behind, they alleged voter fraud and urged the count to keep going.
Part of their plan was to make the long tally times look illegitimate, a plan that dates back months, where GOP state legislatures denied attempts to start counting mail-in ballots early.
Mark Levin even called for Republican-held legislatures to hijack their state votes and send their own electors, an illegal process many had feared the GOP would attempt.
In Nevada, Republican operatives Matt Schlapp and Richard Grenell showed up in a bizarre attempt to cast doubt on the vote where they refused even to give their names.
MAGA protesters tried to storm or disrupt processes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada, the first two to stop the count, the other two because they claimed they were being cheated.

2 were even arrested on their way to attack a Philly location: usatoday.com/story/news/nat…
When the election was finally called for Trump, it was during the low point of the Trump regime perhaps, as Rudy Giuliani was attempting to allege mass voter fraud in Philly... at Four Seasons Total Landscaping.
