The next deadline for Gov't Funding to run out is Dec 11
GOP & Dems are looking at an Omnibus funding bill designed to keep things open thru September 2021 so negotiations could get more dicey than usual

Included on the Funding Bill agenda:
Nat'l Defense Auth Act: sets Pentagon policy -we all know Trump's all over DOD right now- & WH had a fit last time @ renaming bases now named after Confederate Gen'ls

And of course, Stimulus:
McConnell made comments before election that he'd do this in the lame duck, now he's hedging again
And Dems & GOP are worlds apart on size & scope of what it should be
Pelosi still won't budge & she's right

McConnell said Tuesday:
"We need to think about, if we’re going to come up with a bipartisan package here, about what size is appropriate. It seems to me that snag that hung us up for mos is still there. I don’t think the current situation demands a multitrillion-dollar pkg.
