This is just a tweet to remind you that what we are doing to small businesses, especially restaurants, bars and gyms, is theft.
A number of particularly obtuse people replying seem to think that I am arguing that everything should be open without restrictions. That’s not what I’m arguing. But if the government is going to force a business out of business, the business owner should be compensated.
You break it, you buy it.
A number of people object to my use of the word “we.” We as a society are responsible for this. Where are the rallies and protests in defense of small business owners? Where are the relentless campaigns to our legislatures demanding they be compensated for their forced sacrifice?
We are expecting small business owners to accept the loss of their life savings and often the roofs over their own heads. We are forcing them to make the sacrifice and expecting they do so with a smile on their face for the sake of public health.
There is a middle ground between killing grandma and killing the livelihoods of millions of Americans. Instead we have punted on our responsibility to both.

This is tyrannical. The government should not be allowed to effectively put businesses out of business without providing definitive proof that cases can be directly linked to them.
I feel like I’m screaming into the void. How can we all sit by while the government strips so many people out of their livelihood? How is there no expectation that they provide anything resembling proof?
We started a revolution about a fucking tax on tea. America, what the fuck are you doing?

I have raised close to $2000 to buy kits from this woman to benefit the charitable organization of her choice (Chai 4 Ever). She will bring pottery kits to kids in need. If you’re interested in donating you can Venmo me @bethanyshondark.
In addition, we are buying Hanukkah kits for our kids for Hanukkah. You can buy any shape from her to give to your kids or relatives this holiday season. Please keep small businesses in mind while you are doing your shopping. Message her on the number on the flyer.

Brett Kavanaugh is a gang rapist, the President is a tool of the Russians, tried to kill a bunch of fish in a koi pond, etc etc etc. AND also we’d never commit voter fraud how dare you accuse us of such a thing.
I’m not saying there is, but you can’t pretend four years of lie after lie after lie meant to subvert the POTUS at every.single.turn will not be result with people believing you’re capable of anything when it comes to keeping a second term away from him.
Breaking the trust of the American people shamelessly and repeatedly has consequences. And it would’ve been nice for Democrats and the media to realize that in the lead up to an election that was already going to be razor thin.

What’s going on in Virginia
They called it too early. This looks in play.
If Trump won Loudon 55% to 42%, it’s in play.
