Really, just awesome that someone who uses "scientific expertise" as a pejorative and very erroneously thinks that Plan B "destroy[s] an embryo after fertilization" is about to vote to eliminate the reproductive rights of American women. What a country. 
And what we REALLY need now is for lawyers who think "expertise" is a punchline to kneecap our already inadequate COVID response. Just great.

It's times like this that I remember that I owe my very tiny corner of internets renown to @sam_rosenfeld seeing my blogs pushing back at the ridiculous media narrative that liberals had gotten lucky that Bush nominated a reasonable moderate like Alito rather than another Scalia
But that's also what makes this so bad: Alito fooled gullible reporters because his extremely partisan votes were concealed by a commitment to dry, technical language as opposed to Scalia's op-ed flourishes. That he doesn't feel the need to pretend anymore is pretty terrifying.
