The pandemic forced us to WFH. What other rapid changes are happening? 1/15
The future will be a combination of office work and work from home - hybrid model 2/15
This means investments in office infrastructure will slow down. Investments in office like or working spaces at home, hotels, resorts, housing / apartment complexes. Even co-working built into apartment complex 3/15
Lot more emphasis on healthy living - mental and physical, eating right, exercise. More investments into apps that enable these 4/15
Education becomes hybrid - digital content combined with in class experience and online classes. Classroom transition to group work, problem solving and learning by doing. 5/15
Teacher becomes a life coach 6/15
Shopping transitions to digital and online. Physical shopping becomes contact less. Online shopping will add AR/VR capabilities, especially home improvement products 7/15
Healthcare transitions to hybrid model - primary care will transition to use tele-consultation using digital tools. Digital lab reports and E-prescriptions are shared using new collaboration apps 8/15
Lot more group work where teams are in different physical locations. New collaboration and competition enabled digital tools. Automatic capture of attendance and productivity measurements 9/15
Entertainment and infomercials are consumed digitally and asynchronously on personal devices. TVs become projection devices and/or come with built in computing 10/15
Business meetings are digital and over video. Business travel becomes rare 11/15
Travel is primarily for personal or leisure 12/15
People work remotely, in native places, resorts, co-working spaces in smaller towns 13/15
Blurring of professional and personal life and spaces complete 14/15
New start-ups emerge to take advantage of opportunities created by pandemic. Never let a crisis go to waste 15/15
