This Isn't Feminism, It's Imperialism In Pumps

This word "moderate" which the AP news agency keeps bleating about Flournoy is of course complete nonsense. Standing in the middle ground between two corporatist warmongering parties does not make you a moderate, it makes you a corporatist warmonger.
As we discussed recently, Flournoy is a bloodthirsty imperialist and war profiteer who peace activists Medea Benjamin and Nicolas JS Davies accurately labeled an "angel of death" for the American empire.
There is nothing special or noteworthy about a murderous ghoul rising to the top of a war machine that can only be run by murderous ghouls.
But because Flournoy is a woman, we will see her appointment as "Defense" Secretary applauded and upheld as a major landmark for women by a political/media class which has never cared about women beyond their ability to turn the gears of the machine.
And of course establishment narrative managers are already greasing the wheels for that applause.

It's only going to get dumber from here, folks.
Let's clear this up before the parade starts: the first woman to head the US war machine will not be a groundbreaking pioneer of feminist achievement. She'll be a mass murderer who wears Spanx. Her appointment will not be an advancement for women, it will be imperialism in pumps.

Biden's presidency looks set to be worse than Obama's in every way. There will be a backlash against this. It is 🚨🚨ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE🚨🚨 that the US left fight like never before to make sure it's more of a leftist backlash than a rightist one, or things will get very ugly.

Outgoing US envoy to Syria James Jeffrey stated in a recent interview with Defense One that US officials have been "playing shell games" about the number of troops in the region to deceive the Trump administration into thinking there has been a military withdrawal.

Uhh, yeah they kinda do. They spent two years sabotaging progressive primary candidates and spent this year manufacturing consent for Biden. They manipulate the thoughts people think about power, and they can install whomever they wish.
Conceptual constructs like government and finance exist only because we all agree to pretend they're real. They're only ever as real as the collective agrees they are. The powerful understand this, and pour vast fortunes into manipulating what the collective believes.
You can call shenanigans on the official election results all you want, but all you're doing is protesting a Game of Thrones power struggle over which you have no control. You can't fight the machine using the tools the machine has offered you. Elections aren't for the people.
