I am not certain Parler is what people think/hope it is.
...And unfortunately, I am uncomfortably accepting that many will collapse from a looming realization of betrayal.
There is a great deal of money to be made from the assembly of specifically defined user data.
The allure of money is a very corrupting influence.
.... "a very corrupting influence."
Those who do not remember the 2014/2015 political purpose of "Breitbart . com" [Vis-a-vis Mercer/Cruz] likely have no clear understanding of what Parler is all about.
Those few who do remember are not there.
1. Apparently, based on feedback, most people don't know the background. So here's the ugly truth of it. You ain't gonna like it... telling you in advance.
2. Billionaire Robert Mercer, and his daughter Rebekkah, bought Breitbart News for a political agenda.
The plan was to use the conservative outlet to data-mine and harvest via Mercer's other entity Cambridge Analytica.
3. In '14/'15 the Mercer's used Breitbart, and a program for GOP primary to shift support toward Ted Cruz and to capture conservative voter data by putting a poll on their website: "who would you want as GOP nominee" etc.
4. Their plan was to build out the voter file for their control candidate, Ted Cruz. Brietbart was the site that would gather the voter contact files toward that end.
It was actually cheaper to buy the site than to pay for massive data assembly. In fairness it was a great plan.
5. The Mercers bought Breitbart and having previously purchased/financed Cambridge Analytica, that was the approach they were going to use. They essentially used the legacy of Andrew as the mechanism for their own power move. Not good.
6. Fast forward to 2020 and the Mercers are doing it again, only this time they replace Breitbart with "Parler" and leverage Dan Bongino instead of the legacy of Andrew. It's the exact same scheme with a different venue.
7. This doesn't mean Bongino is a bad dude. It ain't about Bongino; it's about the objectives of the Mercers.
This is how they operate. They play poker with politics. That is what this opportune move was/is about.
8. The bottom line (pun $$ intended) is to harvest data.
Is what it is... in current era not much way to work around it... but a little more honesty would be appreciated.
Be Best.

If you remember the 2014 Senate Comprehensive Immigration Reform Effort "Gang-o-Ocho" (the one that cost Cantor his seat to Dave Brat).... It was Bill Sammon who was the DC operative who organized the Fox operation to support it.
Cold Anger is not driven to spite itself. It is more deliberate; more resolved; deeper. Cold Anger is unnervingly quiet, generally and comfortably invisible, and quite mannerly in outward disposition. However, that said, when it matters most... Cold Anger drives a reckoning.
I have written a great deal about "Cold Anger", beginning in 2015, because -in my opinion- it reconciles and explains a lot of the difficult to define energy behind Donald Trump that most surface pundits just don't understand.
Cold Anger is an internal sensibility. Not visible.
Here's my word salad buffet of the difficult to define "Cold Anger", starting with: Why it exists?
(1) When Americans see that justice is measured, not by due process, but by compulsion...
Think about the USDA (Dept of Agriculture) and OSHA federal inspections for social distancing (etc) in all businesses, not just restaurants.
Think about the COVID-19 regulatory and compliance system and what political beneficiaries stand to gain.
Think about how the Dept. of Labor (complaint division) can be weaponized against political opposition based on arbitrary inspections under the guise of employee health and safety.... using federal COVID compliance rules.
Obama paid-off Joe w/ VP position (knowing he would use it for $$$) as a pay-back for Joe's work covering the passport issue in '07/08. Biden was Chair of Senate Foreign Relations Committee with jurisdiction over the State Dept. breech. [By John Brennan]
John Brennan, then Obama’s top terrorism and intel adviser was the owner of The Analysis Corp., the firm cited in March 2008 for penetrating the files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, H Clinton, and J McCain via State Dept. passport office.
