I'd really love to see Lego release some solid, small minimalist sets aimed at adults for <$20. The cost of sets is getting *nuts*
Lego is absolutely selling sets for *less* than what they likely should cost when you factor in all the pieces, print material, and packaging. I don't think they're like, getting away with robbery here. Just would love more entry points for casual collectors.
I think the most exciting Lego work right now is found in the microbuild community. Lots of folks create tiny sets and post instructions. Like, lookit this little island ?????

Anyway, if Lego sold bags of minimalist microbuilds for like $7.99 a pop, I would lose my mind and buy as many as I could
There's this guy named Tom who makes these microbuild pastorals and I think about them a lot. I find them delightful and haunting

If this is your jam, I highly recommend trying out bricklink.com. It's a free software that lets you design a Lego build and it automatically generates the instructions and Lego piece list (!!!) I found it easy to use even as someone who tends to fail at 3D software.
