Would people on #UBI still work? "If by ‘work’ we mean ‘paid employment’, then the answer is yes. In the short to medium term, we are unlikely to see a Basic Income that would be sufficient to live on, so everyone would need additional sources of income." basicincome.org/faqs/.
Every person on #UniversalBasicIncome would only receive two years money paid in two lump sums. Once the money is spent, there would be no more financial handouts for the remainder of their life.
