Interested in applying to our PhD program? Bummed that you had to miss our graduate school preview day? Fear not, the recording is now public! A panel of faculty and grad students discussed the grad admissions process and addressed audience questions.
More interviews with grad students and faculty are available here (including tips for applying and people's stories about the pathways they've taken through science!)
It's #LGBTQSTEMDay! Our community believes that science is enriched by the free exchange of ideas, which includes representation from researchers holding diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
Community highlight: @mishaoraaali (they/them) is a queer desi-Filipino cognitive scientist whose research lies at the intersection of psycholinguistics, developmental psych, and semantics. They also like making art and building things for experiments!
Community highlight: @BabakHemmatian is a queer Iranian PhD candidate, studying cognitive and computer sciences. Using behavioral experiments and machine learning, he studies how social narratives evolve on social media, and how changes relate to attitude shifts over time.
Thinking about getting a PhD in cognitive science, linguistics, and/or psychology? We could be a good fit for you! But don't take my word for it. Here's what our students and faculty have to say!
