We don't all have the language and space to express ourselves as the Professors, and the arguments on Twitter are not as elegant, but perhaps we don't have the same crushing incentives to fall back into line.
Or perhaps we do and enough of us refuse to anyway.

It is clear that if this was going to be won on strength of arguments it would have been won already, its the incentives for people in careers and institutions to give in and give up, to say-the-words, and with that to give up their institutions to lumber on as zombies.
Organisations, accountability, laws and rules are the secret sauce of economies. We gut this stuff at our peril.
Can any of these zombie organisations be turned around from the inside, or the outside? Or will they all be replaced?
