→ Sending proposals
→ Giving out discounts
→ Taking on client calls outside your office hours
→ Begging clients for referrals
→ Working on low-paying projects
That's why freelancers are constantly starving to death.
\Thread\
Most freelancers focus on doing things that don't move the needle.
That's a terrible way to scale your freelancing biz.
I've found that there are a few activities that actually pay off massively without requiring that much work or time.
Look, what I'm trying to say is you need to focus on what's important.
'What is that,' you ask?
Well, here are 3 Actions You Must Take every day to move the needle towards better, high-paying clients within your niche.
1. SEND COLD EMAIL TO AT LEAST 5 COMPANIES WITHIN YOUR NICHE
I know... I know... Contacting people out of the blue can be terrifying.
Nevertheless, you need new clients. So there's no escaping this reality.
Now, what are you supposed to say in this email?
Here's a simple cold email template I use to get people's attention.
If you want to get your client's attention, you must speak in their language.
- What are their most common problems, dreams, and aspirations?
- How long have they been struggling for?
- Why haven't they been able to fix the problem?
By answering these questions, you'll be able to communicate with your client in a more empathic way.
They'll actually start to perceive you as the expert you really are.
Anywho, how do answers these questions?
There are two ways I've found useful:
1. Get on the phone with potential clients and ask them these questions during the meeting
2. Go to Facebook Groups and Reddit Forums – Read everything they write and say on these mediums.
3. GET INTO SALES CALLS AND GET PAID ON THE PHONE
You have to stop sending proposals!
Really.
Stop!
Most freelancing projects can be closed before hanging the Zoom call.
Look, unless you're working for a government institution, or you're charging way above $10K+ for your services, avoid sending a proposal.
What to do instead?

Ask to get paid on the phone.
No joke.
Just do it.
Once you get paid, send an email with a summary of what you talked about.
There's no need to send a 10-page proposal to a client – either way, they never read it (ha!).
Easy work!

MY ADS GOT MY FIRST FUCKING SALE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You don't get how fucking amazing this is.
Someone, who has never heard about me, who doesn't know who I am, who doesn't quite knows my story, took out his credit card, manually typed the numbers to the sales page, and bought my stuff.
