NOW: @PressSec opens her first briefing in some time by bragging about COVID vaccines (not available yet) and attacking Democrats for impeaching @realDonaldTrump last year.

Fox is the only major cable network carrying the briefing (though @cspan has a few channels running it)

.@kevincorke asks about the campaign's strategy for overturning the election. @PressSec, who has been moonlighting as a campaign spox, refers it to campaign but adds that "the President's been very clear he wants every legal vote to be counted," etc.

.@PressSec responds to @kevincorke's question about whether not cooperating with @Transition46 will hurt vaccine distribution by disrespectfully referring to the President-elect as "Vice President Biden" and dismisses the idea that it would be a problem.

.@BrianKarem shouts something about whether the administration will obey the law, which she ignores.

.@PressSec deflects @steveholland1's question about accepting the transition by referring to the campaign's crackpot litigation which has mostly been dismissed, even by Trump judges.

.@PressSec claims no one from the White House has spoken to @GSAEmily or anyone at @USGSA about the transition, which is a lie because the White House sent a deputy White House counsel to be GSA's general counsel five days before the election.

.@PressSec claims no one has been instructed to not engage with @Transition46, which is also a lie.

.@PressSec basically says @realDonaldTrump won't allow the transition to begin until the Electoral College votes on December 14, which contradicts her earlier (false) answer about no White House contact with @GSAEmily or @USGSA.

In response a crackpot question from the OAN crackpot, @PressSec claims @realDonaldTrump never had an orderly transition of power because he and his campaign were investigated for actual crimes (for which numerous associates of his HAVE PLEADED GUILTY OR BEEN CONVICTED).

,@PressSec, who has a Harvard law degree, says @realDonaldTrump became "the duly elected president" in 2016, which is of course idiotic.
