NOW: @PressSec opens her first briefing in some time by bragging about COVID vaccines (not available yet) and attacking Democrats for impeaching @realDonaldTrump last year.
Fox is the only major cable network carrying the briefing (though @cspan has a few channels running it)
.@kevincorke asks about the campaign's strategy for overturning the election. @PressSec, who has been moonlighting as a campaign spox, refers it to campaign but adds that "the President's been very clear he wants every legal vote to be counted," etc.
.@PressSec responds to @kevincorke's question about whether not cooperating with @Transition46 will hurt vaccine distribution by disrespectfully referring to the President-elect as "Vice President Biden" and dismisses the idea that it would be a problem.
.@BrianKarem shouts something about whether the administration will obey the law, which she ignores.
.@PressSec deflects @steveholland1's question about accepting the transition by referring to the campaign's crackpot litigation which has mostly been dismissed, even by Trump judges.
.@PressSec claims no one from the White House has spoken to @GSAEmily or anyone at @USGSA about the transition, which is a lie because the White House sent a deputy White House counsel to be GSA's general counsel five days before the election.
.@PressSec claims no one has been instructed to not engage with @Transition46, which is also a lie.
.@PressSec basically says @realDonaldTrump won't allow the transition to begin until the Electoral College votes on December 14, which contradicts her earlier (false) answer about no White House contact with @GSAEmily or @USGSA.
In response a crackpot question from the OAN crackpot, @PressSec claims @realDonaldTrump never had an orderly transition of power because he and his campaign were investigated for actual crimes (for which numerous associates of his HAVE PLEADED GUILTY OR BEEN CONVICTED).
,@PressSec, who has a Harvard law degree, says @realDonaldTrump became "the duly elected president" in 2016, which is of course idiotic.
Hat tip to @kaitlancollins for pointing out that @PressSec is not doing her taxpayer-funded job.

NOW: Sidney Powell on Judge Brann's ruling, speaking on @newsmax: "This particular judge was appointed by President Obama, we really don't expect to win a lot of the district court cases but ultimately the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court will have to get it right."
More Powell: "We haven't even begun to present the big fraud case yet that I'm still working on, and it's going to be a blockbuster."
Powell is now claiming that Democrats somehow added 35,000 votes to every Democratic candidate's vote total in every state.
NEW: The @TeamTrump lawsuit against the PA Sec’y of State — argued by Rudy Giuliani last week — has been DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE, meaning the campaign can’t refile.
NOW: @realDonaldTrump is talking about executive actions which purport to lower prescription drug prices.
I think what he's trying to say is that the order will require discounts to go to consumers (he says people) as opposed to "middlemen" (who are also presumably people)
Trump now touting bizarre "most favored nation" rule that sets drug prices based on prices negotiated by other countries' single-payer systems. The US can't negotiate because the legislation creating Medicare Part D specifically banned it.
NEW: The verdict on the yesterday's @TeamTrump press conference is in from a jury of Trumpworlders, former @RudyGiuliani confidantes, actual lawyers, and White House officials, one of whom called the performance "an absolute shitshow." independent.co.uk/voices/rudy-gi…
.@DelPercioS, who was Rudy's Deputy Commissioner for Finance and Administration, said it is "so saddening to see that this is who he is now because it’s nothing like he was.” independent.co.uk/voices/rudy-gi…
NEW: @realDonaldTrump's latest executive order could let him cripple a @JoeBiden administration by firing countless government experts such as Dr. Anthony Fauci on his way out the door and leaving behind a corps of loyalists to sabotage things, experts say independent.co.uk/voices/trump-e…
The order could strip civil service protections from a broad swath of career civil servants who work in “confidential, policy-determining, policy-making, or policy-advocating positions” as soon as January 19, a day before the next President is inaugurated. independent.co.uk/voices/trump-e…
“It's a two-pronged attack — a Hail Mary pass to enable them to do some burrowing in if they lose the election,” ex-government ethics boss @WaltShaub said. independent.co.uk/voices/trump-e…
