Now that it’s becoming pretty clear that Bill Barr was always an inept bumbler, it raises even more questions. Barr didn’t defeat mueller with some secret evil genius master plan. Barr isn’t capable of evil genius. Mueller just did a 180 and went home. Why?
Some of you are yelling “Mueller is a Republican.” I promise you, nothing is that simplistic. That doesn’t explain a single inch of the overly complex and absurdly self contradicting path that Mueller ended up taking.
Based on his testimony last year, it does appear that Mueller has gone fairly senile. So that could explain why his initially aggressive investigation dissolved into a whimpering joke. But even if so, what about the seventeen prosecutors working for him? They owe us answers too.
