Anyone who talks about forming a right-wing third party to replace the GOP is terminally delusional.

Not ONCE in American history has a third party replaced a major party. It has literally never happened. You idiots certainly aren't going to pull it off.
Our current two-party structure dates back to the 1850's, when the Republican Party was founded.

People think the Republicans were a third party when they were founded. They were not. They were a major party from day one since they were founded by former Whigs.
The Whig Party, which was one of the two dominant parties from the 1830's to the 1850's, HAD ALREADY COLLAPSED by the time the GOP was founded.

The Republicans had instant credibility because they had former Whigs in the ranks and there was a vacuum from the Whigs' implosion.
In other words, for your stupid neo-Nazi/groyper/whatever party to succeed, you a) need the GOP to collapse and b) need to recruit significant ex-Republicans.

The GOP isn't in danger of collapsing. Not with the party united behind Trump. So you're already fucked.
As for significant ex-Republicans joining your vanity project, not happening. For that matter, even if a Ted Cruz or a Josh Hawley wanted to join the NJP, would the "Central Committee" even let them? They'd probably scream "ZIOCUCK" at them and slam the door shut in their faces.
Same pattern holds even if you go back past the 1850's. The Whigs were preceded by the National Republicans, which were essentially just proto-Whigs, with the same politicians in both parties. The Whigs didn't start out as a third party either.
Both the National Republicans and the modern Democratic Party came out of the Jeffersonian Republicans, the dominant political force from 1800 to 1824. Again, neither of them started out as third parties. Your plan was invalidated even before execution, Enoch.
The absolute best third parties have accomplished on the national stage is electing some congressmen and senators. The best performance a third party ever had in a presidential race was in 1912, when Theodore Roosevelt ran as the Progressive candidate.
So no, your third party idea is stupid, you're stupid, you don't know history, you don't know political science, and you should delete your account and close down your "party" before you're arrested for campaign finance violations.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has surrendered to Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh war. Mass protests have erupted in Yerevan (see thread).
Translation of the peace terms signed by Pashinyan. Armenian forces will cede control of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan, which will be occupied by Russian peacekeeping forces. The Azeri-Armenian border will be opened for transportation.
Armenians rioting in Yerevan right now, demanding Pashinyan's resignation and the country to be taken over by the military.

mentioning Full Throttle earlier got me to thinking how much I don't like most energy drinks

all of them taste like Red Bull, aka they taste like cough medicine mixed with horse urine, and Full Throttle is the only stateside brand I like because it actually tastes good
there used to be an energy drink called SoBe No Fear that was the absolute best, but it was discontinued a decade ago

it was briefly revived in 2012 (I remember jumping for joy at seeing it in convenience stores in Washington and Oregon), then disappeared again
Europe is a mixed bag when it comes to energy drink selection

Sweden is the worst country I've ever been to, nothing but Red Bull

the U.K. is also bad, but Sainsbury's at least carries Monster Juiced, which is way better than regular Monster

Reminder that in the original color revolution (the 2000 Bulldozer Revolution in Serbia), Slobodan Milošević would have almost certainly won reelection had it not been for an army of NGO-trained rioters forcing him out of power. Image
Milošević's primary opponent did not win a majority in the first round of the presidential election. Albanians and Montenegrins, who were opposed to Milošević, boycotted the vote, and the runners-up were from right-wing parties who would have backed Milošević in the runoff.
TPTB knew that Milošević would have won the runoff, so they immediately set up a narrative that he was trying to "steal" the election in the hopes of forcing him out of power before the runoff could be held, complete with riots. They succeeded because Milošević was a wimp.

A problem with the proposed plan to have GOP state legislatures discount the popular vote and appoint GOP electors is that Congress has to approve the electoral vote count in a joint session. Democrats, being in control of the House, would have the numbers to reject the electors.
I presume at that point, it would move to a contingent election. Another problem there: a majority (26) of state House delegations are needed to elect a president. Republicans have only 25, Democrats 24, and one delegation (Pennsylvania) is split.
Republicans would have to convince at least one Democratic congressman from Pennsylvania to switch sides. Democrats could convince a GOP PA congressman to switch sides, but then you're at a 25-25 deadlock. This assumes that no state delegations change hand in the new Congress.

In 2018 in Hungary, Viktor Orbán's Fidesz party won their third consecutive election, taking 133 seats out of 199 total. The West decreed that the election was "free but not fair" on the basis that opposition parties were denied equal media coverage.
The reality is that the opposition had plenty of opportunities to engage the public. It's just that outside of Budapest, nobody cared. You can't make money running a pro-LGBT, Europhile, pro-immigrant news outlet in rural Hungary for same reason you can't in rural America.
Social media also actively intervened in the Hungarian election. Facebook censored a video posted by government minister János Lázár on how migrants had overrun Vienna and turned it into an unsafe, run-down slum, warning the same could happen in Hungary if the opposition won.

Finished the MASS EFFECT games. Took forever to finish ME3 because I was dreading the ending.

Tired of this election shit so here's a LOOOOOOONG Tweet thread looking back at this classic RPG trilogy of our youths. Is MASS EFFECT art? Does it hold up? FIND OUT!
MASS EFFECT:

Best of the trilogy. The only one that is an actual RPG. Had the most interesting story, most interesting characters. It and DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS are the last two great games BioWare put out before the twin pincers of wokeness and EA turned them to utter shit.
BioWare listened to players who criticized JADE EMPIRE for being too dumbed down for the console set. MASS EFFECT has tons of character stat, weapon, armor, magic (oh excuse me, "biotics") customization, hoo boy! Just wish they hadn't built such a completely borked interface.
