.@johnmcdonnellMP's words echo those of @jonlansman to @siennamarla recently, in which the Momentum founder said:
"I’ve had lots of antisemitic abuse. I am hurt by that. The hurt has not been exaggerated. The hurt is real. So I think Jeremy’s words were not right."
McDonnell (and Lansman) wants Corbyn reinstated.
But will the former leader follow his old friend's advice that "we need to keep on apologising" to the Jewish community for the pain caused by Labour anti-Semitism?

At PLP tonight, @RachelReevesMP talked about poss vote on a govt Brexit deal. "Keir and I will read the deal. We are not being bounced into this decision." But gave strong hint Labour likely to back the deal rather than abstain and defo won't vote against.
She led a discussion on how a Brexit deal, even if inadequate, could provide a platform for building on later. Voting for it would also show Labour listening to voters Keir Starmer has promised to listen to after last exln defeat, and that party is ready to move on.
Strong support from PLP inc Hilary Benn, Liam Byrne; Harriet Harman, Sarah Owen, Yvette Cooper.

This sets @BorisJohnson on a collision course with @JoeBiden. If the PM revives in the Commons next month the plan to break international law, US may well take a dim view.

Tory MP @DSimmonds_RNP says that @MarcusRashford's experience of child poverty "took place entirely under a Labour government".
"Was he moved, as I was, by the @timesredbox article that @MarcusRashford wrote? Did he feel it quite striking that the anxieties and difficulties that he described growing up with his mum's worry about feeding the children took place entirely under a Labour govt?"
Reminder: @MarcusRashford was actually 11 years old when the Tories came to power in May 2010.
And he actually wrote in his article in June that he understood the importance of free school meals "because ten years ago I was one of them".

Tory MP @ChrisClarksonMP furious with @AngelaRayner as she says the word 'scum' as he speaks.

Rayner in turn is furious with him for attacking @KateGreenSU.
Deputy speaker very unhappy at @AngelaRayner use of the word. But also tries to sort row over attack on Green.

Source close to @SadiqKhan tells me: "The PM just lied to the House. Before Covid-19 Sadiq was fixing his mess at TfL, reducing deficit by 71% since 2016.
"Covid-19 is the sole cause of TfL’s financial challenge but he wants to punish Londoners by increasing taxes, fares + C-Chg"
The exact wording in the @grantshapps letter 1 Oct:
"Given the significant rise in congestion in inner London, we also propose the extension of the central London congestion charging zone to cover the same area as the Ultra Low Emission Zone and at the same time, October 2021."
