Just a reminder that whenever reports say that someone is being "considered" for a position, it usually turns out false. Most of the time, the person is leaking his or her own name in the hope of a self fulfilling prophecy. I'd bet Rahm Emanuel has been leaking his own name.

For clarity: when a leak says that someone is definitely getting the job, it usually turns out true. When a leak says someone is being "considered" or "strongly considered" or any such phrasing, it's usually jus the person planting their own name.

Why does the media print it anyway, when then they know it's just the person falsely leaking their own name? It makes for easy ratings and page views. And when it turns out false, you just assume Biden changed his mind, instead of realizing you were being played by bad actors.

So far the leaks have gone from Rahm possibly being Transportation, to possibly being a lesser job, to now probably being Transportation. Does that sound like anything that would come from Biden? Wouldn't even make sense as a trial balloon. Has to be Rahm trying different tactics

So far the "being considered" leaks have been wrong about Biden's Secretary of State, UN Ambassador, his entire communications department, and others.

Whereas all of the "definitely this person" leaks have proven correct.

It's important to learn how to spot the difference.

Keep in mind the Trump regime was full of turds who leaked things gain a leg up or sabotage each other. We've gotten used to nonstop leaks as the norm.

But in an adult regime like Biden, things generally don't leak. Most "leaks" are just someone on the outside making things up.

That said, if you want to loudly push back against Rahm to make sure doesn't happen, then go for it. He's a complete turd.

I'll just say this: if Biden doesn't pick Rahm, don't get mad at him for almost having picked Rahm. Remember that the leak was likely fake to begin with.
