I often tell myself that my life shouldn't be a cautionary tale, but I carry scars - some you see and some you don't. Some are buried deeply into my soul beyond my own insights. cernovich.com/43-for-43/
I’ve also had objective success in life that would have been incomprehensible to the fat, bullied, kid who grew up on food stamps. All of the banal success people desire, I’ve had. Now the spiritual side calls more as I lean into love with my family and the world.
I’ve taken hits that would have dropped most and am still standing.
The Atlantic made a movie about me, and the film is not a huge deal. They zoom in on my midsection to make me look fat. OK.
Overall tho, my wife is hot and I am depicted as conflicted and nuanced. (True.)
But the press around it is just completely dishonest.
Here's why:
The Atlantic BEGGED me to be in what they told would be a MINOR role for me. I don't need media. I do my own media. This is all on video, so there's no room for interpretation.
I said sure as a favor to a mutual friend.
Now they are saying I wanted to be in it. Just dumb.
For whatever reason, the media narrative is that I began in 2017 and now do seminars.
It's the opposite.
In 2015 I wrote a worldwide best-selling mindset book. I did mindset seminars, mastermind groups, *before* the election.
This shit started in 2017 - to people who attended my event. GOP didn't give a fuck, didn't care, didn't do a thing. Now this stuff is hitting Senators years later and people want to be surprised.
When MY GUESTS get attacked, violently, by ANTIFA, where was GOP? Where was anyone? What was Rand talking about? This could have been handled years ago but GOP wanted to ignore it.
