YOU can never maximize Opportunities Your mind does not see.

Here are 5 things you can do to make December your best month of 2020.
1. Accept Responsibility For Your Results.

True, 2020 came with a lot of surprises.

No one would have thought that the entire world would go on lockdown.

And it is a fact that this affected a lot of businesses.

But the hard truth is, at the end of the day, the responsibility
is ours.

You cannot continue to hold on to 'what has happened.'

In this same pandemic, many people pivoted and built thriving businesses.

Your eyes won't be open to opportunities if you continue to blame other people or things

Accept responsibility.
Convince yourself that 'if things must change, then it is up to you to make it happen'.

This puts back the power in your hands and forces you to do what you must to get what you want.
2. Assess yourself and be honest about the efforts you have put in so far.

Ask yourself, have you truly been putting in the right effort?

Have you given your best to your goals this year?

Did you follow through with the things you promised to do?
The worst thing any man can do is lie to themselves.

It is dangerous.

See it in two ways:

- maybe you've not put in adequate effort. Meaning you need to double up.

Or

- You've put in sufficient effort but it isn't working, then you need to change plan.
3. Set a CLEAR goal and create a CLEAR plan for achieveing it.

Setting a goal does not mean saying: 'I want to make an extra 1million.'

A goal is more like:

'I will provide a service or product to 100 people who will pay 10k each for me to solve a problem for them'
'I'll spend 3 days creating this solution and 2 weeks promoting it via xyz channels.'

Your goal should not focus on what you want to get, but on what you need to do to get it.

Focus on making progress than on getting it perfect.

Small daily steps will compound to bring result.
4. Focus on discipline and not motivation.

How many tines have you abandoned important work because you did not feel motivated?

That is a weakness.

Really successful people achieve success through discipline.

They do what they ought to do regardless of how they feel.
They are never afraid to make sacrifices.

Sometimes it even means sacrificing your ego & love for comfort.

Discipline is the hallmark of successful people, not motivation.

It's not motivation that makes an athlete wake as early as 4am daily to train his body. That's discipline
Even people who work 9-5.

They are not motivated to wake early everyday to be at the office.

Most times, they wish they could lay back in bed to sleep some more.

Stop looking for motivation.

Start building discipline.

This is what separates champions from mere men.
5. SELL SOMETHING.

Yes, I'm screaming.

Sell something and do it shamelessly.

Sell like the politicians.

They don't have no shame when contesting for an elective position.

That is how you should sell.

And oh, everyone won't like you.

That's fine.
They won't be there for you when your bills come asking, so why bother?

Sell something.

Sell shamelessly.

End 2020 like a boss.

5 Ways To Develop Discipline And Use It To Crush Your Goals.

Motivation will not make you successful.

Discipline will.

Look at the lives of truly successful people and you'll see this is true. (Thread)
Many people misunderstand what motivation means.

They think motivation is a 'positive feeling' that helps you do things.

When they feel this certain kind of way, they take action.

But when they don't feel this 'positive feeling' they resign.

That isn't motivation.
Motivation is a combination of two words:

Motive + Action.

Motivation is the motive behind the action.

It is the reason for the action.

The why!

For example, why do you want to start a business?

So you can have freedom, yeah?

That is the motivation.

If you are want to start an online business and

- You are scared and don't know where to start

- You really don't have money for ads,

Do this:

- Start learning a new skill. Be ruthless about it.

- Share your journey and progress

- Get people to offer your service to.
This is what I mean:

Pick a skill you know you'll be committed to.

Anyone, as long as it solves a real problem people are facing.

Dedicate a minimum of an hour daily to practicing this skill.

Note, I did not say learn, I said practice.
As you practice and get better, share what you learn on your various social media handles:

Whatsapp status, Twitter, Facebook, IG, etc.

People will begin to associate your name with that skill.

When you are sure you are proficient enough, sell your services.

Jim Edwards said something something very important and I want to share it with you.

Before I tell you what he said, let me first tell you who Jim.

Jim is a legendary salesman and copywriter.

He has sold in different industries and niches.
His products have gone on to do millions of dollars in sales.

He once had a $29 product that sold over $1.5m.

You can imagine how many units had to be sold to make such an amount.

The point I am driving at here is that Jim is a successful copywriter.

So what did Jim say?
"To my recollection, I have never written sales copy for anybody else, only for my products."

Anytime newbie copywriters approach me and complain they are struggling with getting clients, I advice them to stop focusing on getting clients.

How To Make More Money By Creating Multiple Sources of Income

You hear it being said everyday, that you should create multiple sources of income.

Here are two powerful ways to do it. (Thread)
Late last year, I worked with a client who had worked in the Nigerian embassy.

He introduced me to a woman whose business wasn't doing so well.

Let's call her Mrs. A.

He wanted me to help Mrs. A.

He connected us both and we fixed a date to meet.
We met at Radisson Blu.

Apparently, Mrs A had run this business for years. But somehow, sales were low and she was also going through emotional challenges.

She was a fashion designer.

She was doing somewhere around 1 million monthly, but her monthly expenses were so high
