BREAKING: Following the Burbank Unified School District's decision to ban several classic books, Young America’s Foundation will provide Burbank students with copies of these banned books—free of charge.
In addition to putting the books Burbank schools are attempting to hide directly into students’ hands, YAF is calling on those with the power to do the right thing—the board members of the Burbank Unified School District—to immediately rescind their ban on these books.
The banned works include To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, The Cay by Theodore Taylor, and Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor.
Students from Burbank USD and their parents can request YAF’s ‘Academic Freedom: A Novel Idea’ package via YAF.org/bannedbooks.
Burbank USD’s next board meeting is slated for December 17. Concerned citizens may contact the School District to share their thoughts on this development by calling the district at 818-729-4400 or by emailing board members via this page: burbankusd.org/Page/1946.

EXPOSED: YAF has obtained footage from last night's @uvastudco meeting, which the student government has refused to publish.
"F*** you...Any sort of harassment, you typically bring on yourself through divisive speech."
"I think that YAF should have some form of accountability. They should be honestly dismantled, and we should stop talking about the Constitution."
This student representative claims that YAF's reporting of UVA leftists' own words is responsible for harassment, and then falsely states that YAF's alleged "hate speech" is not protected under the First Amendment.
