@kgmongan "The chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff has stated that the US army takes lessons from the IDF on how to avoid innocent casualties. He knows what he's talking about. But members of the anti-Israel campaign, such as Breaking the Silence, draw the inverse picture /1
@kgmongan with only kernels of truth.
Eran Efrati, who was a senior member of Breaking the Silence, tells Americans an amazing story about how every police officer in the US has undertaken a continuing education program in Israel. And what are they taught there? /2
@kgmongan Well, just as Palestinians are "the enemy," so every innocent American civilian becomes an "enemy" following the program. "The next one to die as a result of police brutality will be one of your sons or daughters," Efrati says, to frighten them. /3
@kgmongan This time they're frightened of Jews. The police spokesperson, by the way, clarified that there is no such course for American police officers in Israel.
I have been listening attentively over the last few years to slanderous speeches against Israel. /4
@kgmongan The speeches of Breaking the Silence's representative are a new low. The man speaks with the intensity of an anti-Semitic preacher. Efrati, a well-oiled accusatory propaganda machine, goes from city to city in the United States. /5
@kgmongan He is doing several things at the same time: systematically undermining the idea of Zionism; opposing any dialogue with the Israeli public ("it's a waste of time"); unequivocally supporting BDS; and presenting Israel as an apartheid state. /6
@kgmongan Hamas doesn't need a propaganda department: it has Breaking the Silence. "

"Where did this happen? When was this mass killing? The organization has published testimonies from Yehuda Shaul, the organization's founder, describing incidents like this. /7
@kgmongan Is this really the case? For years in the West Bank, and particularly in Hebron, there have been five cameras per square meter. How is it that no one has photographed these insane shooting incidents?" /8

ynetnews.com/articles/0,734…
@kgmongan People who have been conditioned by antisemitism through school teachers, parents, culture, media or just by inclination are very easy to be receptive of horror-tales told about Jews. Their capacity to doubt these blood-libels is simply disabled. @kgmongan is a prime example. /9

@kgmongan @FatFreds_Cat @EnLiEretzAheret @NSRoundtable In the 1948 Arab-Israel war, Israel lost 6,373 of its people, about 1% of its population at the time. 4,000 were soldiers and the rest were civilians. 2,000 were Holocaust survivors. /1
@kgmongan @FatFreds_Cat @EnLiEretzAheret @NSRoundtable Though Israeli children were killed in the conflict the first acts of Palestinian violence specifically targeting large numbers of Israeli children were committed in the 1970s. The Avivim school bus massacre May 22, 1970, 12 Israeli civilians were killed, nine of them children /2
@kgmongan @FatFreds_Cat @EnLiEretzAheret @NSRoundtable The attack was one of the first carried out by the PFLP-GC.

The Ma'alot highschool massacre May 1974 ended in the deaths of over 25 hostages including 22 children, and 68 more were injured. /3

@kgmongan @DuncanD98156234 @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat I think it's beyond dispute that you are not a liar but a blood-libeler. I hope we can both agree on this simple fact, at least.

"United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza had their lives threatened by members of Hamas during the 50-day conflict with Israel. /1
@kgmongan @DuncanD98156234 @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat In a number of incidents, Hamas terrorists threatened to kill UNRWA personnel if they revealed that the Islamist group was using the UN facilities for purposes of war, to ensure that they would not speak out about Hamas’s activities. /2
@kgmongan @DuncanD98156234 @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat Details also emerged of the fate of medical supplies and food that were intended to be distributed by UNRWA to residents of Gaza in need of humanitarian aid. On a number of occasions, armed Hamas operatives forcefully confiscated the supplies, taking them for their own use." /3

@kgmongan @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat Defend themselves from what? Mobs of murderous incited Jews who had been fed by blood thirsty slanders about Arabs?
@kgmongan @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat "we found the twelve-foot-high ceiling splashed with blood. The rooms looked like a slaughterhouse. When I visited the place in the company of Captain Marek Schwartz, a former Austrian artillery officer, Mr. Abraham Goldberg of New York, /1
@kgmongan @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat Mr. Ernst Davies, correspondent oftheold Berliner Tageblatt, the blood stood in a huge pool on the slightly sagging stone floor of the house. Clocks, crockery, tables and windows had been smashed to smithereens. Of the unlooted articles, not a single item had been left intact /2

@kgmongan @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat Don't be ridiculous. You have just admitted that you blame Jews for being pogromed. On August 23, 1929 over 1000 Arabs launched attacks on Jews in Jerusalem. 47 people were killed. This was followed by widespread attacks on Jews throughout Palestine. /1
@kgmongan @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat The British forbade Jews to organize armed self-defense units and within several days, 133 Jews had been killed and 339 wounded. Arab attackers sustained high numbers of casualties (116), almost all of whom were killed by British police trying to quell the violence. /2
@kgmongan @yr_ddraig @FatFreds_Cat Jewish leaders reported that Arab attacks showed evidence of organized warfare; Arab assaults on Jewish communities extended from as far south as Hebron to Haifa, Safed, Mahanaim and Pekiin in the north.
According to Dutch-Canadian journalist Pierre Van Passen who was /3

@Timalloy5 @Israel_for_ever @AhmedElshiekhA @TalMuscal @ArielElyseGold You confused the motivations. And a media outlet is not in charge of making policies.

Irish authorities during the war also turned away Jewish refugees, claiming they would take Irish jobs, and inflame anti-Semitic sentiments amongst the Irish. /1
@Timalloy5 @Israel_for_ever @AhmedElshiekhA @TalMuscal @ArielElyseGold James Joyce, in Ulysses, recited a nursery rhyme Irish schoolkids were taught:
Little Harry Hughes and his schoolfellows all Went out for to play ball
And the very first ball little Harry Hughes played
He drove it o'er the jew's garden wall./2
@Timalloy5 @Israel_for_ever @AhmedElshiekhA @TalMuscal @ArielElyseGold And the very second ball little Harry Hughes played
He broke the jew's windows all.

How did the son of Rudolph receive this first part?

With unmixed feeling. Smiling, a jew, he heard with pleasure and saw the unbroken kitchen window.

Claim #1: "I would never justify the killing, or maiming, of any child, irrespective of the cause"
Claim # 2: "when you treat people like animals, don't act surprised when they bite."

Either one never justifies killing a baby, or one justifies killing a baby. /3
