#Cyberpunk2077 PS4 version Review In Progress Thread.

I'll update this thread with quick thoughts that won't make my @bbcthesocial review next week.
3 Hours in: 2 hard crashes, several T-poses and the level of detail in the world isn't great.

Frame rate is smoother than I expected and the lack of load screens outside of the initial one is cool.
6 Hours in: Thankfully no more crashes. Visual bugs galore, but the fun kind (floating coffee cups, enemies still talking after death).

It feels a lot like the two Deus Ex games from last gen. Enjoying it. It's very undercooked.

8 Hours in: Weirdly, the image quality is getting a bit better and the frame rate is taking a jump off a cliff. Some impressive interiors just walking around the city, and thankfully the frame rate gives you plenty of time to enjoy them as it chugs along.

Taking a break around 9 hours in: I really enjoy the actual gameplay of #Cyberpunk2077. It's very Deus Ex and I'm having great fun doing missions.

The bugs and framerate are terrrible. It's crashed 6 times today. I don't know how this passed cert.
Crash number 7.
Crash number 8.
How am I supposed to review a game that crashes every 20 minutes? I'll be playing this thing in 2040.

Crash number 9. Fully power cycling the PS5 to see if it helps. Really enjoying playing the game, would love to do it for more than 15 minutes at a time some day.
And that's 10. I've reached out to PR. Not really sure what I can do at this point.

Back at it again for Day 2 of my #Cyberpunk2077 Review in progress (PS4 playing on PS5).

If you think your image quality or graphics look a bit off, turn off film grain and chromatic aberration.

Please, god, no more crashes, I just want to play the game!. It's good!
12 Hours: Crash number 11 after a period of the game running very smoothly. Crashes keep happening in cars, appropriately.

#Cyberpunk2077
13ish Hours: It hasn't crashed again. Here's a fun screenshot.

Dead bodies get caught on just about everything, resulting in mad hops
15 Hours in #Cyberpunk2077 (PS4 on PS5 and I've just hit crash number 12. This game HATES it when you enter a new section of the city at any kind of speed. You'd be better just walking everywhere unless you want the game to collapse from stress.

How. Did. This. Pass. Cert.
Worth pointing out that the mission I did just before this was extremely cool and the story is starting to really hook me. If I wasn't playing #Cyberpunk2077 for work I would have stopped. Unacceptable technical state in 2020.
I've mostly spent the last hour just picking the closest ! on my map and doing the mission. They're usually small gigs but the loop has hooked me.

No crashes, but I did just take down an entire enemy base without any of them alerting to me. Stealth king.

#Cyberpunk2077
Alerting to me in the sense that I walked right up to them and they stood there like I didn't exsist, not in the Solid Snake way.

17 Hours in #Cyberpunk2077.

This dude was so thrilled I let him out the back of the car he showed me this neat trick where he can phase through solid objects.
Crash number 13 in #Cyberpunk2077.

The amazing phasing man was the sign of the end times.
Honestly, was a 13 year old boy in charge of all the XXX content? It's about as sexy as a dog farting in your face.

Sadly the review will not contain an extensive parade of the games various phallusi.

#Cyberpunk2077
Crash number 14 in #Cyberpunk2077 just occured while watching today's #KFGD as @GameOverGreggy was reading a story about how broken the game is. It clearly heard my computer and decided to die out of spite.
