Sad news: FG not Buhari will start the construction of 300,000 housing next week called “Family Homes Fund”. A minimum of 400 houses in each of the 774LGAs in the country & Gwarinpa, Auchi, Awka, Agbede, Umuahia, creating 1.8m jobs 
2: The 1 , 2 & 3 bedroom unit will cost as little as between N1.8m to N2m while financial assistance would be available to pay the mortgage. Don’t panic , you can buy the house with N100k and be paying small small
3: to kickstart the housing project , CBN has already committed N200bn facility and the Ministry of Finance has guaranteed 5% of that facility. Financing will be arranged through the designation of a Homes ‘ warehouse Agent who will purchase the completed homes from developers
4: the implementing agency is Family Homes Fund ltd and it has mobilized thousands of cooperatives groups under the aegis of Co-operatives Federation of Nigeria as the main warehouse agents to mobilize low income buyers
5: about 1.5m doors would be needed; 1.8m windows ; 7.8m hinges . So be ready to participate and boost local production and job creation.
