Are the officers' & committees' & staff of #SAGAFTRA's first loyalties to their dues paying union members or to investors in the companies against which the union regularly negotiates? #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

#SAGAFTRA President goes on to boast of 'incredible increases in streaming residuals' but does she mention the cost to dues paying union members regarding their health plan? How some have had promised & relied upon coverage taken away? Of course not. #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

These purported residual rates increases may not prove to be 'incredible' in the sense that they turn out to be non-existent. This is a wait & see how global COVID19 pandemic plays out but this is embarrassing for #SAGAFTRA president & her leaders. #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

It is hard to speak to whether actors are working more during the pandemic current #SAGAFTRA president seems to be under impression they are, but anecdotally I hear differently so ??? She's very vague when it comes to specifics or statistics. #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

#SAGAFTRA president says there's 'more work available' because productions are 'bundling' work. This isn't quantifiable or verifiable especially in a pandemic environment. It's question of 'more work relative to what?' plus what will get deducted from 'increased' streaming rates

What I do reasonably infer from this interview is the standard/minimum #SAGAFTRA contract doesn't cover inversion of theatrical & streaming window for film performers. COVID19 pandemic wasn't foreseeable but shrinking of those windows was & is #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

Per #SAGAFTRA President, a study came 'out of NY' saying on set infections with SARS-CoVs are down to either .02% or .2%? Again study should be released to members 1st & frankly unless they can read whole study that statistic = without useful context. #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

And there's literally an order of magnitude of difference between .2% & .02% in an infection rate (or for that matter a hospitalization rate or a death rate). The vagueness & apparent innumeracy of current #SAGAFTRA president is painful to listen to. #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail

For dues-paying #SAGAFTRA union members there's ZERO mention of major health plan changes such that ~36% of eligible covered members lost their health coverage but there was time for both reporters to behave fawningly around current union President #SOSHealthPlan #TrusteesFail
