Also there are ways to 'flip' a non-union production to become a union production @JaneWorks4U is really knowledgable about how to do this. When you flip a production from non-union to SAG-AFTRA that brings you ever closer to eligibility & you should see pay bumps over non-union right from the start.

Just bought myself a gift: a super long life cooler that isn't a Yeti but a better designed cheaper competitor. The black button in the front is apparently a pressure release valve so if you take cooler into high altitude areas, it's easier to open it. Should be great for summer. Image I have an even bigger 1 of these coolers (different brand but also a Yeti competitor) that's big enough to put an entire adult deer in (would almost span width of a small pickup bed. It doesn't have wheels but if my freezer or fridge dies, it is my backup until replacement comes)

LOL nodding along in psychological astrology student (the good news is a lot of practitioners of this branch of astrology are trained in proper psychology &/or therapists & the very best of them will do more psychotherapy with you rather than reading charts to help you through). Psychological astrology is grounded in Jungian psychology in case you were wondering. Depending on the astrologer they may also work with other types of psychology in their practices. But yeah make actual psychology more affordable & covered by proper universal health insurance.

@Smallorchids @rose_quarks I have seen this play out in an interesting way in the town nearest me.
The Food Lion grocery store (only 1 in the town, you have to drive to other towns for more grocery store options) put in a hot chicken wings / pieces bar. $8.99/lb. Not something you can pay for with SNAP-EBT @Smallorchids @rose_quarks Not something most local people will buy because many of them raise poultry commercially or process it for their living.
So chicken from the hot bar from the day before gets repackaged, discounted & put into the cooler in the deli. Now you can buy it with SNAP-EBT because cold...

Shenandoah County VA (where the 34 acres + house I have) is taxes houses & what they determine to be lawns pretty much at rates comparable to what suburban Northern Virginians just outside DC pay. Pastures, forests & lakes/rivers are taxed less. @SarahTaber_bww @AtticusLabrador We also have issues around when farmers die (average age of a farmer in my county is 60) & how they can or cannot subdivide their land among their children or heirs. Minimum lot size for a home is 3.5 acres. Raw farmland is $10,000/acre plus out here (I believe it's higher in PA)

My parents preferred I be happy & make my own life choices. I'm single, never married, #childfree #ChildfreeByChoice & in #menopause. I was free to give my parents (also my family, my family of origin) caregiving help & now I mentor & live an intellectually, emotionally full life Some people choose to be childfree for environmental reasons (biggest consumers of irreplaceable natural resources are people) some choose childfree because we want to do other things besides have children (it's not about materialism or piling up money, those are billionaires).

Something your gifted photographer wife can do to help & will ease visits in person or at... ...a distance via 'technology'. The technology may be making it harder on you Mom's vision to recognize you as you are so your voice may also become important. Consider sending her voice notes to listen to (talking, singing old favorite songs, reading her favorite poems, jokes...

Doing this is (as a very wise hospice doctor advised me not quite 6 years ago) like piloting the Memphis Belle. The plane gets shot up, your crew takes on unpredictable injuries, resources are consumed, difficulties mount. But you've got to pilot it to the best landing you can. When I learn of someone who is giving care to a person living with #dementia (#Alzheimers is but 1 of a 100+ causes) I tell them it's 1/3 caregiving skills, 1/3 the unique progression of the person living with dementia's illness & 1/3 luck. 2/3rds are not in a caregiver's control

That means that you start typing about whatever you want like eliminating the DL in the AL (& not adding it in the NL) and if you seem to be running out of characters sooner than you expected to you can do this... @real_bobcostas ...and keep typing your thoughts in another tweet. There are threader or thread unroller applications on here that will create a thread of all your tweets if you just keep replying to each of your tweets.
