Dashboard for 12-Dec to explain where the #covid19uk total death increase figure of 519 actually comes from. The PHE dataset merge resulted in a net of 126 additional deaths today. This moves the 7 day rolling average up by 17.5 to 432.6.
Updated chart from 31-Oct lockdown press conference with latest England date-of-death data (latest 4 days faded out for lag):
Same chart from 31-Oct lockdown press conference, but with scenarios all aligned at the 100 deaths/day level on 11-Oct. This is an arguably more fair way to look at it since it lines up the curves with the real events.
Breakdown of today's newly reported England deaths by region. Note that this data (439) doesn't always quite add up to the total England number they announce (440) possibly due to data merging issues. However I still think it's useful to see the general distribution.
And same data again but normalised to number of deaths per 1M population.

Pivot for 12-Dec to show breakdown of both 314 NHS and 126 (net) PHE deaths by date of death. The negatives are a combination of date of death corrections and accounting for NHS deaths that were already known to PHE. Small version for twitter first:
#covid19uk - Detailed positive tests thread. Rolling weekly comparison of totals up to 3 days ago. Now colour-coded by Tier. Red is Tier 3, yellow is Tier 2 and blue is Tier 1.
Same as above but with actual counts intead of per 100K population numbers. Both can be useful depending on whether your focus is on "relative numbers" or "understanding spread of daily report numbers".

Tiers / Sub-region thread. My version of the bubble chart used in the 26-Nov report to help justify the allocation of new tiers. This is the version by 'Sub-Region' as shown in the report but plotted with the latest available age data up to 07-Dec.
Bubble chart like used in the 26-Nov report to help justify the allocation of new tiers, but this version by Lower Tier Local Authorities (the level the previous tiers were allocated).Plotted with latest available age data up to 07-Dec.
