A reader asked me what he should include in his welcome sequence
Here is my response 👇
For beginners, here's a definition. . .
Welcome sequence - The sequence of emails people receive once they opt-in in your email list
‣ Goals
1) Welcome people and set expectations
2) Get people to know what you can do for them and start building relationships
3) Sell your paid offers on autopilot
‣ Length
As long as you wish, as short as 3 emails
Just make sure you can cover everything you need
‣ Workflow Practical Example
• Email 1 - Welcome people, ask them to whitelist you, set expectations
• Email 2 - Tell the story of how you’ve started (From 0 to where you are) - Ask people to reply with their own story
• Email 3 - Show your readers how they can benefit from your expertise and paint a perfect life in that domain (e.g. fitness coaches can tell people how they’ll have more sex appeal, drive, energy)
Ask people what would they like to achieve regarding (your expertise)
• Email 4 - Make an easy-to-follow plan that you would follow if you had to start from the beginning
• Email 5 (sales email) - Story of how you helped someone hitting their goal with (your expertise) and tell them that you’ve documented the process in your paid guide
• Email 6 (sales email) - Hit your readers on their pain-points of not being where they want to be regarding (your expertise) and tell them that you can help
• Email 7 (sales email) - Short email, offer a discount, or create some type of urgency for people to get your product
58% of people check their email before the news and social media
