isn't alone in that. Plus that article in Australia written by someone *claiming* to be the mother of a trans teen, but is nothing more but the standard ROGD script. "Anonymous?" I'd be surprised if the author were really a cis woman, to be honest, let alone a cis mother.

There aren't any valid concerns. Trans kids are fine and not being "forcibly transed." Yes, sometimes people choose the wrong path, but that happens with all medical care, and generally speaking we don't remove access to effective care because one person made a mistake.
The Tavistock/GIDS and GICs absolutely should offer support for detransitioners as well as transition. But detransitioners shouldn't be used to strip trans people of life-saving life-improving health care.
Trans rights are not in conflict with cis women's rights. Every "right" they complain about is a fake right to discriminate against trans women. "Sex-based rights" is stuff like primogeniture, and typically benefits cis men.
No trans person on Earth wants to stop any cis woman from calling herself a woman. No one is being stifled from saying she's a woman, or talking about women. And instances where brands, charities, and others refer to "people with periods" or "people with cervixes" it's not due to
anything any trans woman needs. It's to include trans and nonbinary people who are not women when talking about stuff like period poverty, cervical cancer, pregnancy, nursing, etc. Are people really gullible enough to think trans people would fight to be recognized as our genders

dominate the sport and only had five matches. But the problem with these people isn't really that trans women are a threat. The problem is that trans women get any recognition at all. A trans woman wins a competition and suddenly she has an unfair advantage despite a years-long
record of not in fact dominating in that sport. The Olympics have been open to trans women for nearly two decades and yet not one has ever qualified to compete? And yet we're supposed to believe that trans women are going to destroy women's sports entirely? It's nothing but

The same goes for trans women supposedly being as violent as cis men (or as many insist, far more violent). There are no statistics or incidents to support this. This is why they name individuals, sometimes several, because there's no systemic problem of trans women being violent

A current popular lie that's been around for at least two years is that the percentage of trans youth who go on blockers (99% I think? Higher?) is because blockers somehow turn kids trans, even though it doesn't do that to cis children who receive them for precocious puberty.
In a rational, fact-based discussion, people would understand that such a high percentage of trans youth going on from blockers to HRT and possibly surgery is a sign that the treatment is both effective and accurate. That is, it is trans youth receiving blockers.
A similar lie is that kids are told that if they like the clothes, toys, or mannerisms of a gender other than the one that they are assigned, that they are trans. The reality is that most of these kids are cis and gender nonconforming, and are never told they must transition.
A trans gender identification - a child assumed to be a boy saying she's a girl or assumed to be a girl saying she's a boy - is a requirement for diagnoses of gender dysphoria. And children do assert their gender until it's abused out of them, as happened to me.
Trans people aren't a threat. They're not raping anyone in any restrooms, they're not trying to convert kids into being trans. None of these things are true, and these are all lies constantly blasted through the media because people have an agenda. There is no trans lobby.
There is, however, a transphobic, transmisogynist, trans-exterminationist lobby. You can see them creating groups all the time such as Transgender Trend, Fair Play for Women, LGB Alliance, Women's Liberation Front, and other often deceptively inoffensive names.
You can see them exploiting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence to concern troll about trans women in any space set aside for women. You can see them harassing anyone on Twitter who dares say anything slightly positive about trans people. You can see them leaping
into people's mentions to spew false accusations or present named examples of trans women who have committed violent crimes in an attempt to claim *all* trans women are like that. Or that cis men will "pretend" to be trans women to do it. They're not honest at all.
Just leaving this Sartre quote that coincidentally resembles what these transphobic and transmisogynist activists constantly do to trans people (and many are antisemitic themselves).
