THIS IS BAD!!! An all-time daily record of 11,352 new #COVID19 cases reported today in Tennessee. BRIEF ANALYSIS TO FOLLOW 1/
Looking at the chart, it's stunning to think that we thought July was bad. 2/
1,300 of those new #COVID19 cases in Tennessee today are school-age children (ages 5-18) -- also a new daily record. Again, while children are not likely to suffer as greatly as others, they have vulnerable teachers and family members. 3/
#COVID19 positivity rates in Lincoln and Perry counties are right at 40% 4/
Lincoln County also has a stunning infection rate of 205/100k 5/
If we continue at this rate, we could have 190,000 new #COVID19 cases in TN this month alone. 6/
If we continue at this rate, we could have more than 2,000 deaths of our fellow Tennesseans this month alone. 7/7
