I have nothing but total respect and admiration for the job done by William Barr as Attorney General of the United States.
As Attorney General, Mr. Barr vigorously pursued the corruption that was #CrossfireHurricane and has made a real genuine effort to restore credibility to the Department of Justice after the leadership of Comey and McCabe.
Attorney General Barr has much to be proud of. When it came to the law, he played it straight and has set in motion many reforms to the FISA process that will pay dividends over time and, under his leadership, the Department has taken a very hard look at social media platforms.
William Barr was the right man at the right time in overseeing highly political investigations & stood in the breach at times against both the left and right.
America has greatly benefitted from the service of William Barr as AG, and I wish him well in all future endeavors.

@RepSwalwell ➡️ Shows extremely bad judgement and rank hypocrisy on the part of Congressman Swalwell who led the charge in the Russia Hoax and impeachment.
@RepSwalwell ➡️ Clearly demonstrates a double standard when it comes to defensive briefings by the @FBI.
I completely concur with Attorney General Barr’s decision to appoint Mr. Durham as special counsel regarding matters related to the Department of Justice and FBI’s conduct in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
Based on hearings we held in the Senate Judiciary Committee, it is obvious the system failed and the FISA Court’s rebuke of the Department of Justice and FBI was more than warranted.
To restore credibility to the Department of Justice and FBI after this disgraceful episode, people have to be held accountable – either through criminal prosecution or administrative action.
Generally speaking I think President Trump has done a very good job handling the conflict in Afghanistan and opening new opportunities between the United States and Pakistan.
It is my hope that one day all American forces will be able to return home.
A drawdown to 2,500 counter-terrorism forces may be sufficient, but should be conditions based, to protect America’s interests.
I look forward to hearing our commander’s views on this matter.
It is imperative, for our own national security, that a counter-terrorism force remain in Afghanistan until conditions warrant their removal.
A counter-terrorism force in Afghanistan is an insurance policy against another 9/11.
➡️ Higher taxes, more spending, and stifling regulations – all are wet blankets on a recovering economy.
➡️ Open borders.
➡️ Free health care for illegals.
➡️ Less support for the police and more chaos and destruction on our streets.
➡️ An expanded Supreme Court packed with new liberal activist judges.
➡️ A weakened, dispirited American military.
➡️ A United States on the march toward socialism.
Mr. Harrision is ducking the debate because the more we know about his radical policies, the less likely he is to win. It's not about medicine, its politics.
His liberal views are a loser in South Carolina - and he knows it!
Mr. Harrison is demanding special treatment.
Other than Mr. Harrison, is any other South Carolinian demanding every person they come in contact with be tested before they meet?
Are South Carolina workers demanding all their coworkers and customers be tested before going to work?
Do restaurants demand their staff & customers be tested before opening?
It’s good to see former VP @JoeBiden is embracing a residual counter terrorism force in #Afghanistan as an insurance policy against the re-emergence of ISIS and al-Qaeda, both of whom still desire to attack American interests and kill Americans.
@JoeBiden The US intelligence community and US military are strongly encouraging and supporting a small counter-terrorism force remaining in Afghanistan.
@JoeBiden Apparently, Joe Biden is listening and appears to have learned from the mistakes he and President Obama made in Iraq when the ordered a full and complete withdrawal.
