A Division Bench of Madras HC comprising Justices Vineeth Kothari and MS Ramesh appoint retired Sikkim HC Chief Justice Sathish Kumar Agnihotri to allot shops in Marina Beach by drawing lots. 1/n
Is there not a single retired HC Judge of Tamil Nadu, who is capable to supervise drawing of lots ? What would a native of Madhya Pradesh know about the livelihood of fishermen living in huts in Marina beach ? 2/n
This is the same Justice Vineeth Kothari, who ordered eviction of fishermen who sell fishes in the pavements on the landside of the 2.5-km Loop Road along Marina beach, that runs from the Light House to the Foreshore Estate bus stand. 3/n

The beach is the birthplace of fishermen and they are the sons of that soil. Some Judges think that just because they are called “Lordship” they can lord over everyone. 4/n

Dr G Selvarajan, Additional Director of Medical Education, was due to retire on superannuation on 31.07.2019. 1/n
Dr.A.Edwin Joe, Director of Medical Education also retired on the same date. While Edwin Joe, an able administrator was not given extension, Dr G Selvarajan alone was given an extension of 5 months. 2/n
The reason stated for his extension was that being the Secretary for the Medical Admission Selection Committee, his retirement would upset the admission process.

The five months extension given to Dr Selvarajan, expired on 31.12.2019. 3/n

Now it’s the turn of Gujarat fishermen to vacate their shops and residences from sea shore.

In another significant transfer, Chief Justice of AP High Court Justice AK Maheswari is transferred and posted as Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court. 2/n

For around 60 years, the party which ruled this state is not in power. Can you name a single Cong leader who tried to revive the party in the past sixty years. All the rhetoric of “Kamarajar Rule” is nothing but empty. 2/n
Can you name a single leader in TNCC who actually worked to revive the Congress in Tamil Nadu ?
