@Hadithoftheday Staff/Stick (A'asah)
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Then We inspired to Musa, Strike with your staff the sea, and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain."
(Qur'an: Suraj Ash-Shu'araa 26: Verse 63)
@Hadithoftheday Allah further says in Qur'an:
"And We advanced thereto the pursuers.
And We saved Musa and those with him, all together.
Then We drowned the others.
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers."
(Qur'an: 26:64-67)
@Hadithoftheday The pharaoh who ruled Egypt was a tyrant who oppressed the descendants of Musa A.S. He used every means to demean and disgrace them. They were kept in bondage and forced to work for him for small wages or nothing.+
@Hadithoftheday Musa A.S and Harun A.S went to Pharaoh in obedience to Allah's command and conveyed to him the message of the religion of truth. They asked him to stop tormenting the Children of Israel and let them go with Musa A.Sand Harun A.S
@Hadithoftheday Out of pride and greed for power, pharaoh did not listen to what Musa A.S said. He tried to make fun of him, attempted to prove his power, and denied him.
@Hadithoftheday Neither Pharaoh nor the leaders of the people within his close circle, except for the magicians, obeyed Musa A.S and Harun A.S. They did not follow the religion of truth shown to them. Therefore Allah first of all sent some disasters to them+
@Hadithoftheday Because of their conduct, Allah sent them a number of disasters as "separate miracles" to make them taste the torment in this world, before the eternal torment of the next world.
@Hadithoftheday Allah sent to them a series of disasters, and warned them. These disasters are described as follows in the Quran:
"So We sent upon them the flood & locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people."
(Qur'an: 7: Verse 133)
@Hadithoftheday Finally, no matter how the disasters took place, and what effect they left, neither pharaoh, nor his people turned to Allah by paying heed, but they continued in their arrogance.
@Hadithoftheday Musa A.S set out from Egypt with the Children of Israel who obeyed him. However, pharaoh could not accept their departure without his permission. He and his soldiers followed them .+
@Hadithoftheday By the time Musa A.S and the Children of Israel reached the shore, pharaoh and his soldiers had caught up with them. +
@Hadithoftheday Some of the Children of Israel, who saw this, began to complain to Musa A.S. This weakness of the community is also described in the Qur'an in the following verse:
"And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Musa said: 'We are sure to be overtaken.'" (Qur'an: 26:61)
@Hadithoftheday Allah revealed to Musa A.S that he should strike the sea with his rod. Upon this,
"it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain." (Surah Ash-Shu'ara: Verse number 63)
@Hadithoftheday The sea opened for the people whom pharaoh wanted to destroy.
Pharaoh and his army followed the children of Israel into the sea and thus were destroyed.

@Hadithoftheday Sayyidah Fatima R.A.
Prophet Muhammad had 4 daughters and three sons.
Daughters were:
Zaynab R.A, Umm Kulthum R.A, Ruqayya R.A and Fatima R.A.
Sons were:
Abdullah, Qasim and Ibraheem.
All of Prophet's children passed away during his lifetime except Fatima R.A
@Hadithoftheday During the last moments of Prophet ﷺ, Fatima R.A was with him. She was very in deep sorrow due to which she became sick and died after approx ± 90 days after the death of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
@Hadithoftheday Fatimah R .A was the youngest daughter of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Fatimah R.A was bestowed with two titles; “az- Zahra,” which means “The Resplendent One,” in reference to her radiant face. She also had the title “al- Batul,” referring to her pure character
@Hadithoftheday Abi Hurayrah R.A.
Abu Hurayrah R.A retained more than 5,000 Hadiths word for word, throughout his life.
Abu Hurairah R.A was very keen to seek knowledge.
He was not literate and so all his knowledge depended on oral transmission and memorization
@Hadithoftheday Before accepting Islam, The name of Abu Hurayrah R.A was "Abdul Shams (which means Slave of Sun) ", but after accepting Islam, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ appointed hum with a new name "Abdul - Rehman (which means servant of the most merciful) .
@Hadithoftheday Abu Hurayrah R.A was called as "Father of Kittens (Abu Hurayrah).
Abu Hurairah was given this name because wherever he went, he always had a cat with him.
@Hadithoftheday Surah Rahman - Chapter 55.
The ayah/verse is فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَان which means “Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny"?
This ayah is repeated 31 times in Surah Al-Rahman.
It's most repeated verse of the glorious Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday It is one of the most notable verses of the Quran.
The oft-repeated verse,
"So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”, serves to remind us of our lack of gratitude towards Allah.
@Hadithoftheday Allah has given us life, loved ones, as well as many other comforts.
However, we often tend to take many of His Blessings for granted. As such, we rarely offer thanks to our Lord. +
@Hadithoftheday Ibraheem A.S.
Ibraheem A.S was such an honoured position as he was described as Khalil-ullah – the Friend of Allah (Qur’an 4:125).
Allah says in Qur'an:
And Allah took Ibraheem as an intimate friend."
(Qur'an. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 125)
@Hadithoftheday Many Qur’anic verses revealed concerning Ibraheem A.S suggest that his outstanding importance and high rank among prophets was because of the purity and sincerity of his relationship with his Lord, to whom he totally surrendered his will.
@Hadithoftheday The greatness of Ibrahim’s A.S standing with Allah is confirmed in a number of hadiths. The Prophet ﷺ referred to him as “the best of creation” (Muslim) and mentioned him as one of the prophets whose intercession the believers would seek on the Day of Judgement (Bukhari).
@Hadithoftheday Sayyidah Khadijah R.A
After first revelation, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was trembling with fear. Khadija R.A set out with Prophet ﷺ to her cousin "Waraqa bin Nawafil".He was a man of knowledge. After listening to Prophet ﷺ' s story, waraqa told them that Prophet ﷺ is last messenger
@Hadithoftheday After listening closely to story of Prophet ﷺ، Waraqa, who was both old and blind, exclaimed, “This is the same being who brought the revelations of Allah to Moses. I wish I was young and could be alive when your people will drive you out.”
@Hadithoftheday Around the fifteenth year of their marriage, towards the end of Ramadan, when Prophet ﷺ was forty and Khadijah R.A was fifty-five, Muhammad ﷺ suddenly appeared at their house in the middle of the night, trembling with fear and saying, “Cover me up, cover me up!” +
@Hadithoftheday Iblīs refused to prostrate/bow before Adam A.S on the command of Allah.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And when We said to the angels, Prostrate before Adam; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers."
(Quran Al-Baqara 2: Verse 34)
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:
"What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you? [Satan] said, I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
(Qur'an. Al-A'raaf 7: Verse 12)
@Hadithoftheday Allah asked all the angels to bow as a mark of respect to Adam who was created so miraculously. The order to prostrate was obviously not so that the angels would worship Adam A.S, for no one may be worshipped except Allah, the Creator of all things
