@lara__bk 1. Independence war was initiated by Turks around Anatolia before he even left Istanbul for Samsun. That war was also won because the Greek King Constantine I returned, was pro Germany and supplys and support for the War in Anatolia stoped to be deliverd to Greece by the Entente.
@lara__bk Constantine I returned in 1920, and France and Great Britan directly stoped support for the Greek Army, the Greek Army in the following year just run out of supplys mostly and lost the war in Anatolia. But Kemalist sources like to ignore that fact everybody outside Turkey knows.
@lara__bk 2. He did everything which colonial powers did in the countries they ruled, changing clothes, culture, languge, letters and implementing european laws while forbiding Islamic ones. Where is the diffrence betwen his reforms and stuff colonisits would have done anyway?
@lara__bk 3. Industrialization happend already under Sultan Abdulhamid Han, Young Turks whit their coup of 1908 stoped that process, Electric Railroads in Istanbul, Hejaz Railroad, even an Electric Car was given into production by Magnus Volk" and "Moritz İmmisch". Other Projects too.
@lara__bk Young Turkish Coup of 1908 stopped the Ottoman Industriliazaiton process and throw back Turkey for 20 years in that aspect. But Kemalists dont like to talk about that either because Young Turks are the forefathers of their ideology.
@lara__bk Muhammad Alexander Russell Webb (1846-1916) wrote about the Industrialization of the Ottoman Empire by Sultan Abdulhamid Han if you want to know more. Tophâne-i Âmire which was modernized, 1884 İstanbul/Cibali Tabak Fabrik which imployed over 1500 people in one main building.
@lara__bk Cement Fabrik Kireçburnu (1891), Sewing Factories in Yedikule (1890), Gas Company and Fabrik in Yedikule (1891), Glass Factorys in Sirkeci/Çubuklu (1891) are just some of the Factories who where opend up by Abdulhamid Han and bringing Turkey the knowhow for Industrialization.
@lara__bk 4. Education didnt become widespread what was widespread is that people where turned into analphabets over night because of his latin letters reform. That process was a catastrophe for Turkey which for decades could not have turned. Like seen here. Hürriyet Gazetesi (24.09.1964)
@lara__bk 5. I dont know what you mean with Womans Rights? Woman had always rights in that Region for hundert of Years in the Ottoman Empire, even Western Historians say that openly. Like seen here:
