[Thread] Secound Season of @netflix Rise of Empires: Ottoman, just released. I ask the Muslim community to take this show with a grain of "western POV" salt. I will explain in this short thread, why. Image At first its disappointing to see people like Dr. Emrah Safa Gürkan being part of it. Like many Turkish historians who got educated in a heavy Kemalist academic atmosphere, his views are greatly influenced by Orientalist/Secularist bias, historically negative towards Ottomans. Image

[Thread] How the EU (mostly #France, #Germany) and the #USA, support the brutal Dictatorship and Military Junta of Al Sisi in #Egypt, and no im not going to talk about how Trump called Al Sisi his favorite Dictator, this goes into more detail, beyond the western mainstream bs. ImageImage Al Sisi is a coup General now President who trough his puppet Adly Mansour massacred over 2600 people of his political opposition on bright daylight in his own Capital of Cairo on August 14, 2013. Better known as the Rabaa Massacre. Nobody ever was sentenced for the Massacre. ImageImageImageImage

[Thread] Historical proof of Armenian Dashnaks (Armenian Revolutionary Federation) & Russian Invading forces massacres of Turks and Kurd's inside Anatolia which lead to the events of 1915. Turkey wants recognition of this but its ignored mostly by Western Media. #ArmenianGenocide Western Media itself reported mostly about Armenian Dashnaks before WW1 terrorizing eastern Anatolian Turks and Kurds, these actions where mostly supported by Russian Weapons and Explosives. All of these 4 articles are from the @nytimes reporting on these events.

@lara__bk 1. Independence war was initiated by Turks around Anatolia before he even left Istanbul for Samsun. That war was also won because the Greek King Constantine I returned, was pro Germany and supplys and support for the War in Anatolia stoped to be deliverd to Greece by the Entente. @lara__bk Constantine I returned in 1920, and France and Great Britan directly stoped support for the Greek Army, the Greek Army in the following year just run out of supplys mostly and lost the war in Anatolia. But Kemalist sources like to ignore that fact everybody outside Turkey knows.
