@lara__bk 1. Independence war was initiated by Turks around Anatolia before he even left Istanbul for Samsun. That war was also won because the Greek King Constantine I returned, was pro Germany and supplys and support for the War in Anatolia stoped to be deliverd to Greece by the Entente. @lara__bk Constantine I returned in 1920, and France and Great Britan directly stoped support for the Greek Army, the Greek Army in the following year just run out of supplys mostly and lost the war in Anatolia. But Kemalist sources like to ignore that fact everybody outside Turkey knows.
